Title: Kingcoin: A simple spin-the-wheel game I built where you can win bitcoin
Post by: coolidgecoin on October 24, 2012, 05:11:31 AM
I'd love to get people's thoughts on a simple spin-the-wheel game I've built where you can win bitcoins. It's called Kingcoin: http://kingco.in (http://kingco.in)

Just don't clean me out!

Does anyone know which board is best to post this on? Right now I'm restricted to "Newbies," but eventually I'd like to post this elsewhere, too.

Thank you for trying out Kingcoin!

Definitely ask to be added to Mem's List:

I had posted this on your Reddit post but I'll repeat it here:

I tried changing the client seed and it let me enter one but it constantly reverted to some numeric seed.
That's the whole point of the client seed is so that the "shuffle" comes from a value I control.
[Update: This has since been fixed.]

Hi, Stephen-- I fixed a small bug in the provability code. The game has been fair since launch, but a silly Javascript error on the front-end overwrote the client seed that the user enters. I'm sorry about that! It's since been fixed and games are now provable. Thank you for pointing out the error.

I will ask to be added to the list you mentioned.

Thanks,
Sanjay

Works great, thanks.

When I login but typo on my username, it creates a new account.  (I didn't click sign up, but instead did login).   It showed 0 BTC and I was a little confused until I realized the error.  Should Login also function as Sign Up when no account already exists?

Alos, from an Android mobile when I login, the logout button isn't clickable for some reason.

The only way to logout is to get to a 0 balance and then a link for logout is shown.

Bitcoin Forum > Marketplace > Gambling -  would appear to be the best spot to post this sort of thing. Nice game.

I sent BTC0,10 to the site, transaction ID: b7fffe5c7b30d46ce7302e8bfb68ff7f6ddb1e74eb36dc6e28f647ba1a7987b9
but the money has not shown through on my balance. Fix, please? Or return the funds to 1KVp61tLZi74tiNJFikqwYYLea2E2nJnBt

Thanks in advance for your coöperation.

"Seems legit". No, really... seems great... I played the 'demo' version and understood things around.

I will bet once, twice (although I am not into gambling hehe).

Nice core game, but I think the overall design could look a little more pro.  Would also be nice to see how the last 5 users fared.  What did you use to implement this?

Hi, nobbynobbynoob--

I sent you 0.15 BTC to your address already immediately after reading your message (I added 0.05 BTC to apologize for the inconvenience).

Did you end up retrieving the 0.1 BTC you originally sent? Keep in mind that you have to press "refresh" on the page in order to see your deposit show up. Also, while you can play immediately with deposited funds, you have to wait for one confirmation until you can withdraw.

Please let me know as you are the only one who's reported issues, and I want to make sure that not even a single person has any issues!

Thanks,
Sanjay

Thank you so much Sanjay, that's wonderful!

No, I did log back in a second time but the money wasn't there. I will try again soon, and if by some miracle the BTC0,10 show up, I'll happily refund you the refund, if you see what I mean. :)

Thanks for coöperating, and it's a nice little game, by the way.

PS The available withdrawal balance was showing minus BTC0,10 (!) while the main balance showed zero even after I had sent BTC0,10 with more than six confirmations. Now it's showing exactly zero.

As a bookend to this thread, there is now a thread for KingCo.in in the gambling forum board:

A delightfully simple spin-the-wheel game (that's provably fair)
