Also, the 911 has long been considered a "daily driver" sports car. I'd drive a Carerra GT every day if I had one! Boy that would piss a lot of people off. But I don't get angry when I see somebody driving a cool car, even the janitor. So really "they" can fuck off! I don't have a lot of experience with 911s but I would imagine there are a TON of better options out there, especially for 40k. Then again, it all depends on your budget. Yes the Boxter is an even better idea. But the 911 has some space in the back you can use, and the Boxter doesn't, but the 911 is a lot more expensive and a lot more difficult to run.
