Title: [BTC MARKETING] RT "Capital Account" about tax evasion, capital controls
Post by: molecular on October 24, 2012, 03:22:40 PM
There's a show on Russia Today called "Capital Account". The viewers are financially interested, some gold bugs I guess and maybe also some mid-net-worth individuals. The host, Lauren Lyster, is intelligent, informed and hot! They also have very cool guests.

The last two episodes where very much about precious metals, possibly upcoming capital control increases. The guests (Doug Casey in the first one, for example), seem to suggest people (metal stackers and offshore  bank account holders) should be very careful, because there might be some event that makes the USD very weak and the govt. might come for the REAL MONEY.

Of course this is an ideal use case for Bitcoin!

So I've been posting in the youtube threads.

Here the two shows.

  • "Doug Casey on how to Hedge Against Political Risk in the Greater Depression": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w11jxc8WhR4
  • "The Precious Metal Barter Tax and IRS Mission Creep!": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21wEQIpZO-I

I've also suggested they should interview Trace Meyer on Bitcoin (as someone else has suggested on the forums).

Maybe someone wants to help out? If you want to find my comments, I'm "moleccccular" (4 "c"s) on yt. Maybe if more comments are about bitcoin, they will jump on the topic... they are pretty cool after all.

That would only work if they pay attention to the YouTube threads with their videos... I think a more effective approach would be contacting someone involved with the show directly.

they do that. I think they read all comments. They have a section in the show where they quote yt comments.

I would've loved to contact someone directly, but couldn't find contact info. My twitter request for contact info was being ignored.
