I guess the price till Xmas 2015 will be something around $265;

and price till Xmax 2016 will be somewhere around $400;

and PRICE till Xmas 2020 would be somewhere around $1500.    ;D ;D ;D

I think it's fun to play make believe but it's meaningless to discuss the future of bitcoin price without sharing some fact based rationale for your prediction.

I hope the halving creates a spark of growth, but only time will tell and where it goes nobody knows.

same target as now by the end of this year, around march the first escalation, probably returning to the last ath, then again a dump to 500

i'm sure the hype around the halving will be strog enough to trigger something

As of now it is $246.35 In my prediction it will just increase about $250 then it will go down again, well you will never know
what will happen in the flow of bitcoins, no one does. but you can always guess and hopeful that your prediction is right!  :P

the price at christmas 2015 will be $275. and in christmas 2016 it will be $360. and in christmas 2017 the price will at least reach $600.

Of course this is just my wild guess and nobody should take it seriously! :)

I think at the end of this year the prices of Bitcoin will be somewhere around 300 $.As of now there seem stability in price and if call this new floor will not be over estimated in my opinion.

My ballpark figure is:

My guess for prices till this Xmas is 280 $ which seems obvious to achieve by then.Next Xmas would take Bitcoin to 500 $ and by the 2020 it is quite possible to see around 10000 $.This is all what I think how the price will evolve by then.

I'm bored of posting modest predictions so I'm going for $68,476 on Christmas day 2020.

I think the only notable prediction is the first one, that  the price till Xmas 2015 will be something around $265.
Other numbers are totally off and I wouldn't be surprised that bitcoin price after next year's halving will be actually lower that we all expect.

On xmas days of the following years:
2015: $256
2016: $512
2017: $1024
2018: $2048
2019: $4096
2020: $8192
2021: $16384

My predictions might seem low to some people, but they are ultra realistic.

It will be $1000 by the end of the year.

By the end of the year the price of bitcoin will be $1000.

It's funny because these are actually extremely similar to my predictions, except I think BTC might drop below $200 this X-mas D:

I think I spy a bias, because every single person thinks BTC is going to rise consistently, but we know this isn't the case!

Well maybe your right bitcoin isn't steadily going up always, some cases bitcoin sprung down to just $199
but I am positive that bitcoin will go up this year! and people here is just having fun in suggesting,
they have positive thinking that bitcoin will bloom in the near future!  ;D

Xmas 2015: $262

Nope my friend It will reach more than 330$ according to the current rate, after this year we can expect the price will go up and for Christmas 2017 it may be 380$ to 400$ then for further years according to market value it will move up But sure it ll not fall down

At the end of this year 2015 price will be somewhere at 600 $ and exact after one year these days will be at over 1000 $ for 1 Bitcoin.This recent speculation showed that the rise in price is a matter of time can go in couple of days higher.I am holding my Bitcoins.

It's better to track and predict price on halvings , instead on xmas dates, but fine..
xmass this year probably around 500-700 USD, and with each 2nd xmass after this one the price should atleast double up (it's not only due to halvings, it's the user base
that's also increasing)

The real fun will start at blocks close to 1890000 , where block reward will be under 0.10 btc per block. Guess the fee's will be worth more than the actual block !

That is too much USD in just a yearly increased and I think in increasing population of users that has too much btc will surely increased the rate of it.

I strongly believe that the price  of bitcoin by the end of the year will reach to $1k, as we are also expecting halving in next few months which will contribute in better price of bitcoin and we will see more users into the world of bitcoins by the end of the year.

I feel that bitcoin will not touch in $1k value this is just what i feel since there is no news about bitcoin that can push the price into 1k value.
But nothing can be possible with bitcoin the adoption is fast and we heard few months ago about 20 stores in paris that i think it can push the price of bitcoin and more countries will come in the future..

No one knows but a guess ill say christmas 2018 @1200 stable

I think the OP had a good surprise to see the price of bitcoin increase much more than predicted by him when this post was written last year. I think Bitcoin is in a very favorable position in the market, it is possible to notice certain stability in the range above the seventy dollars, and it seems that the uptrend is still strong.

All your predictions have largely failed, but actually this is something natural in this highly unpredictable altcoin world. In fact I think no one has been able to approach to the historical performance of the bitcoin or any other altcoin.

And a good example of this impossibility to foresee the bitcoin behavior occurred during the highly expected halving, to the disappointment of many. 

The price has been in an uptrend for nearly 2 years now. Even if the price drops, which I find a very normal thing considering the current price, then the uptrend is still moving forward. We'll be fine as long as we are sitting above the $700 level. If we fall below that level, then it's fairly safe to say that the uptrend has taken a break. The coming weeks will be more than interesting.

I know this might souds repetitive as I say that year 2017 might be the landmark year for Bitcoin. It is true that we hear this kind of mantra every year since 2013 but seriously amount of negativity towards FIAT (Deutsche Bank and Monte dei Paschi bank problems) and people rising awareness of bitcoin is a good sign. We might see dramatic leap of adoption next year.

I think so. his prediction is wrong because now bitcoin price is almost $800. it means that twice than his prediction for this year. probably in 2015 bitcoin price in December was not too high (I forgot it anyway)

well I think in the next year bitcoin price will be $1300 by the end of the year. in 2020 it is probably around $2k

If I am not mistaken, the price of bitcoin in december 2015 its around $400 and yes its increase almost two time from before. if the price is still like this and not move up, then its hard to reach $800 in the next year. but i am sure that bitcoin price will be up in the next year.

If so the price could have reached high this year. Most of the time on years having special events big rise will be experienced. By the year 2017 if the ongoing price increase along with increased adoption steep increase can be felt rather than gradual increase in price.

Well, you mistaken just a little, just in two times mistaken. Christmas is coming and new price as 800$ is very close to be. So I think bitcoin possibly reach that point of 800$ and it's gonna be Christmas present to all users.

I think Bitcoin is going to cross $1000 this Christmas. The current price of a Bitcoin is near $800 so it will be good for us that we set a higher level of Bitcoin price otherwise we can miss good profit.

The Speculation is far from what bitcoin price really are, I guess this year has a big difference that the past year big difference as you can see the bitcoin price last year and the bitcoin price right now it is because more people are showing interest to use bitcoin.

I guess everyone is hoping for that price too :)

This Christmas is maybe to close to reach 1000$. The price of 850$ seems more realistic to me and more then that could be possible within the first three months of the next year. But if the Bitcoin continue to rise and no big chrashes happen this could also be a nice gift for this Christmas.

This Christmas, I doubt Bitcoin will reach $1000. But last Christmas, there was a spike, so $900 is quite possible, if not probable.

But only time will tell, eh?

My prediction is Bitcoin price in 2017 will touch $5000 and settle at $2200

its need more time to reach $1,000 because the price for now is hard to gets up into $800, its up for a moment and then going down, over and over a time and we can see this on the market. but after reach $1,000, its need more power to get $2,000. i will wait and hope like you that price soon will be increase like many people prediction.

We are heading close to the year end as well the price is heading close to $800. Every year ending small variation in price happens on the increasing side. This time too expected to grow and reach $800 by the start of the year. As users quoted $1000 won't happen now, it takes long time.

It would really takes time to achieve that price,it wont really happen this year since the days are only few left on this last month of this year.We can see we are still on $770+ price and not even touching 800 yet. As OP predicted or guess the price of bitcoin on Oct 2017 is 400 which it increases to 600-700.
