Title: Bitcoin savings? Any Goals?
Post by: Flacko Jodye on October 07, 2015, 03:57:24 PM
I've fuk'd with BTC before and now Im fuking with it again.

Before it was the Doge Coin Rush and now I'm pumping all of my online earnings in PayPal to BTC. Managed to save my first 10 BTC in the past 4-5 days! I'm trying to get to at least 150 BTC before the end of this year. If BTC doesn't sky rocket by next year, I'll have 500-600 BTC with high hopes of it going to the MOON!

To the moon we go!

This is apparently your address? How about you sign a message from it for us to confirm?
I can't really say that I have a exact goal. I do not have time anymore to focus on this as I used to, which is quite unfortunate. I'm try to get any coins whenever I can. We can't really tell what is going to happen with Bitcoin. Let's just hope that it gains more adoption so that people can start using it everyday.

I would say you are doing the right thing..I agree with you..Most of all most of the bitcoiners, including me expect the price will sky rocket next year but there is no guarantee so better only hold bitcoins that will not make you mad or sad if the price drops :P
But most probably the price will increase and i too will be holding some bitcoins that i can like 4-5 not much :)

We need more people to keep their online earnings from whatever service they provide in bitcoin instead of getting it in fiat right away.

Is it your only source of income? eg. do you need to turn some of the bitcoin in fiat again? Or are you comfortable in keeping it in bitcoin?

10BTC in 5 days is great, but you'll only get people to believe you if you sign an address containing at least 10BTC, otherwise it's just trolling. My goal with Bitcoin is to have at least 50BTC in my cold wallets. Then I can sit back and enjoy seeing the price go up throughout the years.

I hope so too. Only 99 BTC to go.

But if this happens... Would it not be wise to do some faucets now? everybody despises faucets, but that might change if Bitcoin skyrockets.

by far not. maybe in 10 or 20 years but definitely not within a few years. my personal goal is just being able to use my coins worldwide.

Damn man, if this is a truth then you are earning a nice money online. Do you mind sharing what exactly are you doing if you are able to save 10 BTCs in 5 days just from online earnings?

Once many businesses start accepting it as a currency then people will get more confidence level to keep bitcoins with them and it will create demand for the coins and prices will go higher but as of now only few people who are into bitcoin businesses are storing rest of them just using when they need it so bitcoin still need lot of time to go into ordinary peoples hand..

My goal is not much like you (150BTC)
my goal 20BTC in next year ( end of 2017)
but sometimes is very hard for me :(
i can't saving more than 0.1/week so i can save only ~0.4/month or maybe only ~5btc

I like your targets.
Like many other people here, I also wanted to save some 1000 bitcoins as I aim to get one million US dollars. If I can earn one bitcoin per day I can get 1000 BTC in next 3 years which is highly impossible as many factors need to consider like bitcoin price and opportunities to get bitcoins.

You made an entry at perfect time and I appreciate your goal of 150 Bitcoin by the end of this year to reach.I will suggest you to have patience and hold your Bitcoin there will be surely a huge increase in price of Bitcoin after halving. If you can hold for few years then surely this could be your golden chance to become millionaire to join the new elite class.I don't have that much but 10 Bitcoin in cold storage for long terms to see where it takes me.

it is a very good idea to have some sort of a goal for yourself and try your best to achieve it. and i think 150BTC is a nice amount for investing in bitcoin.
you just have to make sure that you are keeping those coins safe and keep an eye on the price in the future.
