Meh, some people register just to do a trade and then never login to their account again. We would be forcing them to spend lots of time on the forums (which I doubt they'll like) before doing the trade.

People should use an escrow when trading on here. There are many trusted escrow providers here. That way it shouldn't matter if a noob is trading because the escrow service will ensure you don't get scammed.

For example SebastianJu is a trusted escrow - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102721.0

People like him act as a middle man so you don't get scammed.

There is no guarantee that members with good rank won't scam (check scam accusation threads many are against old members) or all newbie shouldn't be trusted. It is better to be cautious and use escrow whether you deal with newbie or anyone

It is perfectly ok for brand members to post whenever they want - marketplace included. Stop discriminate.
If you see someone brand new your scam sense is tingling and you will be extra careful when trading with that person.
Use escrow, you will be safe.

Exactly, some of the worst scammers to ever frequent this forum were highly respected posters any way. New doesn't always = scammer.

What with the whole trend of buying and selling accounts, limiting a new account from posting in Marketplace section would be useless. If the user really wanted to scam, they could simply buy a higher ranked account for about 0.02BTC and use that.

As long as escrow is used with untrusted/new members, I don't particularly see why certain ranks should be unable to trade with others.
