Title: BitMarkets. (Also) A Decentralized Market Place. Post by: tokeweed on October 09, 2015, 04:16:10 AM Funny how we didn't notice BitMarkets. It's a decentralized market place much like OpenBazaar, but has a few differences. I think I am liking this one better because of it's "2 of 2 escrow" system that makes it truly trustless and makes the need for a third party escrower unnecessary. Check it out.

Having to put money upfront for each trades might be pretty annoying but that's interesting and might work nonetheless. OpenBazaar will offer more escrow options though.

It eliminates the need of an escrow agent. Also I like that it utilizes Tor. Title: Re: BitMarkets. (Also) A Decentralized Market Place. Post by: Kakmakr on October 09, 2015, 05:41:38 AM Would you mind explaining the 2 of 2 party escrow, compared to the normal escrow agent option? The diagram is not very clear on that. I also like the fact that it's using the Tor network to add some privacy, but it will once again turn into a Silkroad scene. ::)
Please explain. ^clueless^ Title: Re: BitMarkets. (Also) A Decentralized Market Place. It's all there. Title: Re: BitMarkets. (Also) A Decentralized Market Place. Post by: knight22 on October 09, 2015, 12:52:37 PM I'm not so sure about 2 party escrow.
