both are vaguele equal in performance (ignoring the low numbers) but the 5970 costs al ot less AND - more important in a setup with many of them - uses less electricity = less heat. Correct? Any particular reason - except possible resell value - to buy 6990s? But for dedicated mining the 5970 is by far the superior buy (if you can find it).
