A new piggy bank for the digital age has been introduced to the crypto-community. Ernit, the digital savings bank, allows children to save bitcoin and other currencies through its mobile application and its electronic piggy device. I like Bitcoin for one of the many reasons being I can be the boss over my own money. That's not the case with banks, and also not here with this Piggy Bank.

the article explains it is basically a device for parents to give out allowances electronically and for the kids to manage their savings at their end. i think this is a good idea. its more about teaching the value of saving than anything, but thats a valuable lesson for kids. plus, no more smashing open the piggy bank to go on a splurge! Definitely agree with this, they are growing up surrounded by an amazing amount of technology and if we can get them adopting something like Bitcoin at an early age it can only be a positive move. |
