This will be the basis for the next "institutional freakout", and not just because guns are being printed. What most people don't know is hand scanners exist that allow digitizing of real objects in very little time.
Once we hit the stage where 3D Printing with metallic powders start to become commonplace, then we'll really have something on our hands. Manufacturers all over will have a collective panic, I'm sure. |
