I was wondering if as an admin of group,can I use it to my advantage to earn some btc? Is there any way I can monetize it to earn bitcoins without selling it? I own a group on facebook which is named

You can pin posts to the top of the group with a high-paying site that gives good referrals, or you can sell that top post to someone in the group. Most people won't pay for that, not with just 1400 members in the group, so your best bet is to run your best referral link in the top pinned post.
