ANNOUNCEMENTS

25 Jan 2015: It has been a pleasure serving all of you as customers, but I've decided to move on; Ravenbit will not be releasing any new coins and has ceased all operations. Thank you for the support over the past 2 years and I wish all of you the best!

These numbers are not final and are subject to slight revision.

24 Dec 2015: Today is Ravenbit's 2 year anniversary; thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last two years! I will be releasing a new design in January 2016 (the mint is currently in the process of making the dies). If you'd like to be notified when the new coin is ready to be released, and you haven't already signed up for my very infrequent release newsletter, pm me your email address and I'll be sure you're added to the list.

Nice. Good place to get my Ravens in a row!!!

X ???
A ???

Sign me up!!
I would like to reserve 1 of each please.

I'm probably going to nix the "X" coins, undecided at the moment. The "A" coins will be assembled in the same way as the Node Bronze (with the same hologram) except there will only be approximately 150-200 total coins and 3-4 "colors". These will be sold in packs of 5 for $49.

Raven alert: small jar of pear jelly from Italy that was recently given to me. :D

lol

Also was wondering why the Brass series wasn't listed fully in the list yet.

Row 1: satoshi / test-satoshi box, Node Silver MS67, Node Copper #001 MS67, the infamous velvet pouch (but no display stand ;) )

Row 2: small bronze-AT box, copper envelope, brass-LE envelope, large bronze-AT box

Row 3: Node Bronze
-Face, Redeemed, Gray, Green, Yellow, Violet, Blue, Red

Row 4: Node Brass
-Face, LE #25, R, A, Gray, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red

Row 5: Node Bronze-AT (5 of 7) & Satoshi coins
-Mars, Juipter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Satoshi, Test-Satoshi

Also:
Have the copper errors #248 and #249 on the way
Have the line on brass error #48.... :D
The other 2 owners of the Bronze-AT are not selling at the moment.
Dogevisitor has some of the "Zero Set" available...hopefully at a good price ;)
I use the term "rawdeemed" for the redeemed bronze and brass.

Nice! Almost as impressive as my collection  :D  Good luck getting those last two bronze-AT's.

p.s. - The "zero set" isn't really "a thing", unless I guess if you guys insist on it being "a thing"

Not a thing, but a nice "subset" of the Satoshis for those into numerical collecting of cryptos.
I know people (myself included) try for certain numbers if available from manufacturers.
For some, it holds meaning. For others, might just be a random.  ;D

Excellent point, I agree.

I have a couple questions, since this is the Ravenbit-Reference-Thread (RRT):
(note: these are being asked after reading most/all of the forum pages involving trades/sales/auctions of the Ravenbit coins)

Absolutely, I encourage any and all questions to be asked in this thread.

What happened to Satoshi coins that were being auctioned here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=791861

4 were sold after the completion of the auction and 1 was kept in personal collection.

What happened to coin #9 & #69 that were auctioned here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=588389

Sold to a buyer who contacted me after the completion of the auction.

What happened to 4 Satoshi sample coins
https://ravenbit.com/2014/08/31/satoshi-mintage/

They were never for sale and I still have possession of them. I list them in the mintage for the sake of transparency and thoroughness. The samples do not have serial numbers and 2 of the 4 are partially "frosted" on the obverse. When I get a chance, I'll post a pic.

Only BadBear and Theymos can help MinerJones. :(

He already contacted me about this, but I couldn't help him. The only thing he can do is to send a signed message to BadBear/Theymos and hope they unban his account.

Which Ravens do you hold in your stable??
Do you have one of the silver ones??
Raven-tracker wants to know!!! :D

Bronze, Copper, Brass and Brass A. I don't have a Satoshi or a Silver... yet :D.

Title: Re: Ravenbit Reference Thread (Availability, Details, Pics)
Post by: mrbrt on December 31, 2015, 01:58:43 AM
I was always wondering if the "A"s came from the original stock.....and now we know!!!!
that's a whole lotta' carbon spotting considering this was half the original stock.
Were these originally set aside and not sold?? or are there some floating around out there??

Most were set aside and I've spent considerable time examining and re-examining them; adding and subtracting here and there. It's been unnecessarily time consuming and it is unlikely I'll make a brass coin without a finish on it (like the bronze) again. The issue is not exclusive to this mint.  There are definitely coins floating around with some carbon spotting, but unlikely to be as severe as the coins slotted for destruction. The exception is the 50 L.E.'s which I reluctantly sold regardless of condition (I know that you have some of the L.E.'s with the spotting). I'm guessing most people don't even notice the carbon spotting, but it was driving me nuts.

Were the LEs part of the initial batch and just stamped differently??
It would make sense and add up to around 1000 brass coins minted for you ;)

Yes, 1000 coins minted (not including samples). 50 of the coins were stamped 01 to 50 by the mint. ~275 of the coins were hand stamped "R" by myself and 216 of the coins were hand stamped "A" by myself.

Wow.....between these and the Satoshi coins, I would get your $$ back. LOL :D
Thanks

The mint made me whole (plus some) both times. I've had no issues with the copper or the silver coins I've minted with them.

Dang, I was thinking the site was under renovation for a new coin.

It's sad to hear as I was under the impression the coins were doing well but in any circumstance I'd say thanks for all the hard work you put into Ravenbit and good luck with future endeavors.   :)
