I would give up on nxt dude, u can have all the bells and whistles but with a non existant userbase u wont go far. Same goes for bitshares, or even litecoin which is unbelievably overpriced if u compare it to its non existing userbase outside crypto. These coins have no usecase whasoever, only speculative coins. I can add peercoin, namecoin, stellar, maidsafe, dash, monero, bytecoin, dogecoin, ripple, nushares, blackcoin aswell to all these non existant userbase coins.

When someone's hyping, someone is getting ready to pump...  Then dump.

We're launching BARR on the NXT Asset Exchange because it allows us to generate a new coin without creating another redundant network and blockchain.  There are already too many of them out there, so our goal is to reduce the number of altcoins in existence.

NXT is a great platform for what we want to do - Burning Altcoins for Redemption and Reduction.  Please visit barr.me if you'd like to know more.

Thanks so much. Really great to hear why you are launching your coin on NXT platform! :)

lol :)

What I like to see in a coin is unique utility: do you need the coin for something, that you cannot do with any other coin?

You really need bitcoin to buy stuff from black and white market as most merchants only take bitcoin.

But anything you can buy or do with litecoin you can also do with bitcoin, so no unique utility there.

However if you want to own or trade or launch assets without counterparty risk, you really need the NXT decentralised asset exchange which requires nxt coins. No other coin offers you this.

If you want to launch your own cryptocurrency with a few mouse clicks without needing to be worried about security of the network, you will need nxt as well to launch it on the NXT Monetary System.

The only other altcoin I have found with unique utility is clams, you really need them to gamble or invest on just-dice.

If you know any other alts that have unique utility, would love to know.

Maybe you should check BitCrystals. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=957797.0

You need the coins in a game, and cannot use anything else in the game? That is unique utility indeed.

However, the game is still in development it seems?

In that case you don't need it yet to do something, you - may - need it, which is too high risk for me.

Would value it if you inform me when game is launched with success.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

This is exactly what I thought when reading the thread title...

They already selling cards with big success.  I will be more happy if they are doing it on NXT :), but it seems to me like good project.

Thanks Yodark, I have corrected.
So we have about 500.000 bcy collected from the card sold, and about 250.000 bcy to be burned at the end of this month (for now).

I think that after all we will have about 350.000 bcy burned at the end of this month.

and no fiat money link yet.

Great video, seems like NXT is pretty much getting the spotlight it needs in the last weeks, many remarkable people are promoting it and it feels nice to be a part of the NXT community.

The NXT investors will probably get rich sooner than expected if this continues.
