Title: 25 BFL singles
Post by: yochdog on October 29, 2012, 06:22:39 PM
I am willing to part with my large collection of singles.  Would prefer a bulk sale, but would be willing to do smaller orders with a minimum of 5 singles per order.

They are mostly Rev3....4-5 are ones with large bottom fans.

If someone will take all 25 of them, I will sell for $16,000

Cheers!

I am firm on the price.

If you want them all, it will be 21 large.

Could you trade in 25 Singles towards an SC Minirig, or would you have to trade them in for singles?

You might want to keep them as singles (assuming you use a PSU -> barrel plug cable for easy power cable management, and a massive USB hub for USB management). In the event one of the singles goes down, you just send it back to get it replaced. You'd be down 60 GH/s, and not 1.5 TH/s, unless they allow you to ship back defective chips and replace them individually. Would be worth looking into.

I am firm on the price.

Despite this (and perhaps with as old as this thread is), I'll offer $2400 for 5 units.

You can do either, but I wouldn't trade in for singles...

IIRC, any BFL FPGA product could count towards a trade-in, but your total trade-ins had to account for less than 50% of your order. So you could apply 24 of these Singles towards a MR.

This sounds like a good deal, but I'm considering a post I read earlier about BFL possibly mining with their new line of ASICs atm.  If it's true, that means the difficulty will already be raised by the time the first shipment actually ships and makes this deal one to consider for both good and bad.

I don't think BFL was very wise with their marketing techniques, if a better company can offer better products in a shorter amount of time it will blow BFL out of the water.  Then again, I just started...so.

I'll take all 25.
Offering $550 shipped to Chicago.
Escrow thru Graet.

I assume none have any problems.

I have to go $650 each......600 trade in value + whatever they can make before ASIC is considerably more than 550.

no problem with escrow through Graet.
