Title: CGMiner giving BSOD! Post by: Hitman10666 on October 30, 2012, 09:29:00 PM CGMiner works fine for me up until I hit "Q" to quit. When that happens, I get the BSOD, the computer dumps the memory, and this is what I get when I log into Windows again:
Code: Problem signature: My system is as follows: AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 ATX FM2 Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB I have been dabbling in overclocking my GPU. The stock is 800MHz/1125MHz, and I have it up to 900/1225 right now. Even if I reset my clocks to the default, it still does the error. On the blue dump screen, before it restarts, I can catch one line that has to do with "atikmdag.sys". For the record, the GPU temps do not exceed 55C even when put under almost 100% load for hours on end, so that's not the problem. Any help is appreciated! Title: Re: CGMiner giving BSOD! Post by: Hitman10666 on October 31, 2012, 01:28:57 AM Hmmm for some reason it seems to only do this when I use the [Q]uit command, and not when I press the X button in the top right corner. Very strange, so I will continue to use the button method in order to prevent this from happening.

Title: Re: CGMiner giving BSOD! Post by: raad287 on November 18, 2012, 10:58:10 AM I would reinstall the drivers / sdk, see if there's a newer version of cgminer as well. That A10 might be causing problems too if you try to mine on it at the same time.
If you can I would use the A10 for your desktop, keep the 7750 dedicated to mining. If you run cgminer -n, it'll list the gpu's it's able to mine on. The switch to pick a specific gpu is just cgminer -d (0,1,2,3,4,5,6) |
