Title: Someone staking Sprouts?
Post by: maokoto on October 19, 2015, 12:58:05 PM
Hello there.

I just began staking some SPROUTS, it is a POS coin, and would like to hear about other user's experiences on staking it. I have noticed that the coins have lost about a 20% value since I first bought them and not really sure if it is better to hold and stake or sell them before more loses come in...

Yes they are worth staking but at a much higher block rate of x00,000,000 this way you can get your 10% in about 5-6 days but remember you still get 2% every day after 5 days!!! But I will leave the link here to our community because were just getting started with this coin its almost ready to really take off! Also just added a Lucky faucet and also a mac wallet with a mobile one OTW!!! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1103868.msg12917019#msg12917019

Think about how much you can afford or are willing to lose on the coins in advance always have a plan on what to do if the price goes up or down. That's advice I wish I had years ago!

Well we currently have a 15,000 Sprout coin bounty on it so it shouldn't be to long! :)

IMO I would keep staking them because they have great things planned for the future BUT why don't you come check our community out and you can decide for yourself  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1238834.200 8)

Definitely hold!

SPRTS price is lower than ever right now.  I was staking when the price was nearly double, but regret selling them.  Most alts usually rise, dip, then rise again, so I'd suggest holding on to them.  With coins that stake and split up, I often times send them all to an exchange, then send back to the wallet so they stake higher rewards.  But still...definitely hold, if you can afford the loss.  Because if something unexpected happens & the price skyrockets, you will definitely regret not being patient!  (Which is 99% my case - it's obavi from cryptopia, sup bro?)

Whats up obavi? You are definitely right! Plus new things added every week! So if this coin is not for you NP! I have plenty of buy orders in across the 3 boards to take them and add them to my portfolio and Ill hold till they sprouts up to the moon! 8)

My wonder about sprouts is about inflation.

My wonder about sprouts is about inflation.
That will be adjusted in Jan.2016! I do believe it will be a community vote! But watch the thread posted above to find out exactly what will be implemented  in the coming weeks! :)

There is fork being scheduled for inflation? Will it be too late?
