Hi.
I started development on BitApp, an Appstore that accepts Bitcoin as payments.
The benefits of it for Users:
- Download from Any Country
- No Registration
- Low Fees

For Developers:
- No Credit Card
- No Signup Fee
- Only 0.01 / App published

Apps can be Free or Paid. The merchants will receive funds to their account balance, which can be
withdrawn without limits. Developers can pay publishing fees from their account balance.

The apps published are reviewed by humans, not bots to make sure only safe content is shown to users.
After you Purchase or Download an app, you will get a unique download code, that you can enter
into the BitApp mobile application to download the App of your choice.

Apps will be published for Android Only, because iOS users would need Jailbreak.

To purchase paid apps, an e-mail address should be given, due to API limitations.

This a very good idea for a project tho, will the apps that is already in google play will be available in this project?
I like this concept as I really don't like using my credit card or my paypal in purchasing paid applications on playstore so I think this will benefit those who also prefer anonymous billing.

I've been looking for this. Thanks for not requiring registration. That is important for someone like me who has not had a phone in my real name for years. Even my service provider has no clue who I am and that makes it hard to buy apps. Credit cards and the like link your identity, your phone, and your money together. I don't do that. Ever.

You will still need to register as a Developer, but no identification there.

this sounds cool, although im not a developer i would love to get some apps with bitcoin. lets hope this app store gets famous and gets alot of developers

Can you perhaps provide a little more information on how submitted apps are checked to ensure that they do not contain any malware or similar code.

One of our team members installs the APK on his own phone, and checks it.

Just an update: An email address will be required to purchase paid apps. This applies only to paid ones, free apps require nothing to download

where link download on google play and apple store?

The app is under development so there is still no link to where you can download their app. Also it's only availablr for android and not on IOS.

This idea is very nice, but i doubt apple will allow your app in appstore.

I Think you missed the part on the official post that stated they will only make for android: "Apps will be published for Android Only, because iOS users would need Jailbreak."  Therefore they don't have any plan of making one for apples app store

they would delete it from Google Play, as they did with Amazon Appstore

I don't know if I will release it as some Open Source, because only this one exists, I don't want to get it copied and re-published after 2 days of launch.

I suppose you should at least make the code to the android app available to reputable members of the forum so that they can audit the app.
