Title: Need Help With Excel (Paying Tips) Post by: Virtual Exchange on October 21, 2015, 07:54:30 PM Hi, I am having trouble figuring out how to use excel to calculate equations for loans, credit cards, and interest. If anyone can help me with this it'd be greatly appreciated and I will tip you. I am making tables and using the equations for the first couple periods and then dragging it down to fill the rest of the chart.

Did you forget to use "$" to make the reference cell absolute? I.E. $A$1 instead of A1 That way the same cell will always be used. Thats great sometimes the best way to learn is by trial and error, now don't forget to document what you did. Yeah I used that symbol to freeze the values that were going to stay the same, but I must have forgot to freeze the cell I was referencing. I think it just wasn't in the right format. |
