Title: STUCK TRANSACTIONS - Help Required (UnResolved)
Post by: PrimeGlitch on October 24, 2015, 04:58:34 PM
Hi guys, I have 3 payments outstanding.

The first one was sent without fee's and seems to have backed up the rest of the transactions

Here is the transaction in question

https://blockchain.info/tx/99403293ed5cac1c25bc7e437a72935137e47cea257cb177797a4e1a0cd85596

other unconfirmed

https://blockchain.info/address/191DJR5Sn292BqsWFgT25PPExP9K3UVWrR

Is there any way to solve this issue? or is this just a case of waiting?
I read somewhere with electrum you can solve this issue?

Any help or advice would be fantastic.

UPDATE

I think I have found the issue.

I sent funds from my electrum wallet version 2.2.4 to blockchain wallet.  For some reason electrum is not sync properly seems to be freezing when I open it or try to click on network

I have gone to
blockchain_headers  certs  config  qrcode.bmp  recent_servers  wallets
root@admin~/.electrum#

and removed Blockchain_headers

But still the same issue never connecting or freezing on trying to open the menus

Thanks In Advance

Prime

I dont know whats wrong with your electrum, but I can tell you that all the transactions. You created require your first (without fee) to get confirmed first.

If you look here -> https://blockchain.info/tx/99403293ed5cac1c25bc7e437a72935137e47cea257cb177797a4e1a0cd85596?show_adv=true (https://blockchain.info/tx/99403293ed5cac1c25bc7e437a72935137e47cea257cb177797a4e1a0cd85596?show_adv=true)

you can see that the output of the first transaction is spend. If you click on the red word you get to your 2nd transaction -> https://blockchain.info/tx/2fcb68fb8a2b07c44e1534f24799a9681f36d5827dc79308af929aae90b7a730

and finally to your 3rd -> https://blockchain.info/tx/8dafc2708f3df20e075a587f4a0f2d4c25e2a4cdf6914cef7c9f0e1ea0fda13f

Once the first confirms all others will confirm as well or shortly afterwards.

All you can do now is wait. Either for the network to forget about your transactions (takes a few days) or for them to confirm (might take more than a few days).

Oh and you should update electrum to 2.5(.1)

I had the same issue a few days ago. I accidentally sent some transactions without fees and it took almost 24h to confirm.

Good luck.

Thats been well over 4 hours and till its just sitting saying sync.
It last sync yesterday so can't be that far behind the network.
Strange thing is the balance is still showing as 0.3 btc in electrum but those funds are now in blockchain and stuck?

I deleted the file Blockchain_headers again but still never connects

I can see outbound connections from the program but have no Idea why it wont sync

Installed Version 2.5.1 - Linux OS

In one word..

HELP..

I have attempted to connect to all the ones showing but the status shows sync but never seems to end?
I have the following.

Blockchain : 368494
Getting block headers from 8 nodes.
Server ELECTRUM.jdubya.info   Port 50002

Auto Connect (on)
Proxy (None)
Use SSL (On)

Is that for you or the server? Whichever it is, it isn't synced since the block height is 380000+

That is what is showing in the network tab at the top.

This is the transaction thats stopping it all https://blockchain.info/tx/99403293ed5cac1c25bc7e437a72935137e47cea257cb177797a4e1a0cd85596

Sent with no fee, which I think is stopping everything?

The transaction shouldn't be affecting anything. You might just have a slow sync. If you routinely check and you see that number increasing, then you are still syncing and nothing has frozen. If it is stuck, try restarting electrum and maybe the computer.

Thanks,  I have reinstalled twice electrum,  restarts the works. nothing seems to be working might just need to wait for the network to crap it out or pass it on.

Thanks Guys!
