I have seen couple of thread on how much money making from gambling but mostly every one losing in gambling so I started this thread.

How much you have lost in gambling?

how much, just 0.072BTC but it hurts.

Once a day , I put 0.05 btc in Satoshimines and reached 0.20 btc by spending 10 hours on it, In last i lost all in single bet :( . This was my last big loss bet.

So far, about 1 coin, most of them came from LuckyBit and Nitrogen.

I lost 8k bits when I was trying to chase a 1000x on BustaBit for 6k rounds. Luckily, some generous players tipped me some, so it wasn't a full loss.

Lose around 2btc but not in bitcoin gambling and it was 2years ago. Since I knew bitcoin, I do not lose anything because I never spend my own money to start gambling, just play whenever there is something like giveaways and/or no deposit bonus. Lucky me, I can recover all my lose on fiat gambling with bitcoin gambling even get some profit LOL.

i never calculate how much i lost my money in gambling but i guess the amount is more bigger than i won ;D ;D ;D ;D

8K bits? You mean 8,000 bitcoins? That's really a lot, But 1000x is rarely to hit. I'm a risk-averse person so I don't gamble.

I think it is really to tell how hard you are up/down.  If I had to guess over all my years of gambling(around 10 or so) I am guessing I would be up around $500 dollars.  It isn't much but I am probably in the plus rather than the negative due to a few big hits.

It is good to see some one gambling over 10 + years. It looks you gamble carefully and not betting much that's why your loses or winning are not much but anyway don't try to make much and just play for some time pass. So  for I never gamble on any type of games but some times I bet on sports only. I made just little over 1BTC so for and I don't bet regularly.

LOst more than 5 btc in PD but UP more than 7.3 btc in poker and sportbook so the total is now 2.3 btc up. This is not alot but at the moment it is increasing and atleast it is a profit

Gamble is for fun. If you get addicted, you will lose. Glad someone is earning some money since most of gamblers are losing.

When I was playing lost near enough 20 BTC playing and winning at Blackjack but recently lost around 3 BTC due to being hacked. Total of around 23 BTC gone but it was fun apart from the last hack bit.

I lost on gambling hardly about 0.2BTC :o :-\ no gain. If i won, i'll again bet that gain too!

I don't lose anything, because I am not gambling. But my friend lost 2 BTC. Gambling is always a risk and when yo start doing it, you should be ready to loose

Lost a number of faucets given to me on Satoshidice, so I didn't actually lose anything. Managed to make 25.000 sats out of a faucet of 200 once, but then the math of gambling and the fact that the house always wins came around and brought balance back to 0.

There is no way to check if the claim is true or not. So people can say what ever amount of loss. There are too many losses from this thread.

Is that true? how many days/months/years you lose that 150btc and what kind of gambling you have played? 150btc is a huge amount for me, I can buy a nice car and/or a house with that amount. You must be a rich guy, because seems that you do not sad/regret to lose 150btc just for gambling.

Unfortunately I don't keep good enough track of my deposits/withdrawals to know. I've been gambling through a variety of Bitcoin sites for over 2 years now. I have times when I profit a lot but other times when I lose hard. I'd imagine I've probably lost maybe 1 Bitcoin over the years, which isn't too bad considering my volume is likely much higher than that.

Not much actually, I always recover my losses. There'e always safe Sportbets. My motto: don't play moneyline you'll loose hard.

I like to bet mainly on Euroleague basketball. Last year I had a great run at the end of the season, I have made about Bitcoin  BTCs betting mainly on over /under.

European championship has killed me. I have lost about 2.5 BTCs on this competition together with the 2 first days of the Euroleague.

All in all I have lost about 0.5 BTC.

Unfortunately, when I started out in bitcoin I gambled a lot and had sort of an addiction to gambling (I know, ironic with my signature)... but now I have cut back a bit and gamble only when it's a rainy day and have nothing else better to do; and better yet, I have developed some sort of "deal" with my self that if I ever do go gamble I can only loose .05 BTC no matter what... It's been hard for me to come to that realization with the mentality that "Oh well, I can get it all back with just one bet! *YOLO*". When it comes down to minimizing your loses when it comes to gambling, it's all about discipline in setting a limit of how much you allow yourself to lose.

It's quite surprising for be, but i actually am a lot in profit on crypto related gambling, but a lot in a loss in real live casinos and sportsbetting.
I guess the provably fair games are quite an advantage over normal gambling.

Maybe 0.2-0.3 BTC in total? I got greedy at points and decided to do some pretty big bets. Actually, scratch that -more like 0.1-0.2.

I try not to gamble - I lost 0.008 today on Magical Dice after receiving my signature campaign satoshi. Decided to withdraw at that point.

My luck doesn't hold out at all, I try to steer clear unless I'm rolling in cash (which isn't often, lol)

This is a quite honest review on this thread. It good that you have some self control to reduce your losses. But if you already know you may not win in these gambling then I think you may find some other useful things to do in rainy day instead gambling those 0.05BTC. If you can find some other ways to spend your time then you can save those small coins also.

Yeah gambling always be like that, last month you got 300% profit and then in the next month you lost over 400%. -100% and ended on negative. I Didn't bet on basketball but I have lost a lot of money too in EURO qualification. Almost -1 btc .

Yes gambling is giving some big profit in some months then it will end in negative in next month same like trading. Making consistent profits from trading and gambling is not an easy task. You must be a professional gambler to make your every month as a profit-full month.

Because they still have hope they will win big and recover all of their loses. Also people start gambling because they believe that they will win big with very small amounts.

It's just an addiction. Addiction that has destroyed many lives unfortunately!

First, because they think they can win. Second, they enjoy the gambling process.

How can it be the same as trading? What I know you can't even loss with trading bitcoin. Mostly people lose because of lack of experience in trading and they do trade some alt coin that no one pump thats why he loss. AFAIK gambling is profitable if you know when to stop

I've lost around 0.1, but not at once. It took me more than a year of gambling to be at minus 0.1 overall, so I guess I'm pretty lucky at gambling. )

I have wasted 2BTC till date on gambling .I have such accurate figure because I have dedicated my alternative wallet only for gambling purposes .Trust me if you are planning to start gambling my advice would be "DON'T".Just invest your money into some thing better which has low but guaranteed incomes .If you're goal is to become rich sooner,remember shortcuts are always dangerous .

well, i also have the tendency to gamble in hope to get more btc in shorter duration and so far, all these failed very v3ery very badly. tried a lot of things but more of the time is failure and losses. best is still patient and investment on promising opportunities.

Sound good, i do not lose anything too so far, sometimes i just pay for entertainment in sportbooks bet. And have enjoyed my free time to play some Blackjack card in Crypto-Games.net, or watching some sport on live streaming video.

Overall, i think gambling must be considered as a "pay for entertainment" game. Play fun, and pay less.

That is the most common story behind every gamblers. Initially they will read some one making lot of money without much effort form gambling then motivated to try them self but some time initially they may makes some profits but if they continue gambling at the end they will lose lot so gamble only with small amount and try not to be addicted to gambling.

honesltly i dont count my lost as it will only hurt when i saw my big losses. but its probably more than 1 BTC all in all, not a good sign for me as i dont really earned a decent profit until now but hopefully get some with sportsbetting

I lost more then 0.3 btc on gambling in period more then month. Gambling is nice thing when u gamble for fun, if u gamble just to double coins u will lose everything in the end. In begging i played nicely and i was in plus, but then i become greedy and i lost most of my coins.

I'm relatively new to the world of online gambling, a little under a year. I've lost over 180BTC , it makes me a little sick to think about.

180BTC must be a very big money, everyone here is dreaming for that. Your situation is most common in gambling or in trading. People make some profits but loose more than that in next round of gambling or trading.

i went through all my old scratch tickets since may of this year and had $190 in winners i didn't even know i had. But there was $5000 in losers. Really $5000. And that's just in scratch tickets. Online and such probably 20 or 30 grand the last few years. I also have won big a few times. I won $37000 about 5 years ago playing Caribbean stub in Mississippi. $5000 online playing slots about 2 years ago and $ 1900 this year playing online. I also won 3.7 bitcoin on BC-Casino last December. Just waiting on that $1000000 payday and ill quit.

When I lost  week I lost .03 btc I stop playing because that only I can afford to lost I need to control my self in playing gambling f I continue playing I don't know if I will win or lost.

That's a common situations most of the gamblers face even in trading forex also. People always want to recover their losses from the same source. But that is not a wise idea. There are lot of bitcoin earning opportunity. But they are not as quick as gambling but safer and may be slower.

The expression you use indicates you know you will not see the 5 btc again. However, I still want to get back that 5 btc. Good luck.

Wow, lots of interesting stories here.  I can't believe 180BTC.  at this point in time I would try and seek some help man.  Not trying to be rude but that is a lot of money.  Perhaps you got in early and have thousands of BTC but wow, hope the best for you.

actually i'm very rarely doing a gamble and if i doing it mostly only for sport betting but if i calculate it probably around 0.2 - 0.6 btc

Honestly if I didn't get carried away after each big win on BCVC , I'd it woudn't be so bad.

Actually sport betting is not at all gambling bro it is but the terms are specified gambling and "betting ".Betting is not a part of gambling its an completely another entity.Gambling could be totally based on luck,time and limited knowledge factors but betting is totally based on one's knowledge ,experience based on the betting subject.

Sports betting actually is considered gambling. The definition of gambling is to risk something you would rather not lose in exchange for the potential of gaining something you would like to have. If you are interviewing for a job with a different company, even though your company does not approve of this and will fire you for it, you are taking a gamble. When you bet that one team in a sport that will beat another, you are taking a gamble.

If you win and you never stop eventually you will lost..

If I had to guess, hundreds of thousands of dollars I have lost gambling in the last 4 or 5 years total.

That is painful to think about, you still gambling? Hoping that you aren't betting more then you can lose...I know what thats like.

I don't keep track of my profit or loss closely, but my net loss should be less than 0.1 btc which is tiny when compared with my ~50 btc total wagered.

I have lost more than 2 btc in a sports betting at the beginning, I was new to this. Then I developed my own strategy to avoid and minimize the losses. Then I started to place additional cross bets on live matches as per the current situation which reduced my risk and always helped to recover the money.

How are you doing now?  I tend to stay away from sports betting as it has the worst house edge you can imagine.  You have professionals betting against you with lines and spreads and I don't like my options when that happens.

i've only lost about 30 dollars when gambling for fun over about 5 years. even though it's still some money, i feel like the entertainment was worth it

If he is from Bangladesh or some other poor country he could live for $12 for whole month. That amount is really big in some parts of the world.
And again if you are rich person losing even $10.000 on your gambling adventures is nothing. So it depends.

that's really a good point , in my country the average income now is 50$ monthly cause we are in war and our currency is moving down when we compare it with USD

$12 could be a large amount of money in some countries. If it is a large amount in your situation, then do not bet it all in a dice game. Keep some for your living.

Yes, agreed with you. If the $12 is big amount for someone then its better for them to stay away from gambling. If they can not afford to loose this amount then they should not waste their money as there is no guarantee of the return in gambling. 

When you ask how much money you make from gambling everybody write their adventure. But people don't open up about this when the subject is losing. Nobody wants to express their losses psychologically.

You are quite honest. I do not have much to say about my loss. All the losses are in National Lottery. I would like to win big, but lost all my stakes.

It is always tough to talk about your losses.  To be honest, I don't think a lot of people actually know if they are up or down.  It is really hard to tell because when you are up you feel good and remember it vice versa the other way. 

that $12 is already enough feeding a poor family on a third world country on a whole day :D i'll consider that a big lose if i lost that amount since i am living on a third world country. though i already lost more than that overall on dice sites ;D

if he really needed that 12 dollars to feed his family, then maybe he shouldnt have used it to feed his family instead of gambling it away ::)

I too cannot afford to last the 1 BTC right now. Because almost $400 is a big money for me. I can live off this much money for more than one month.
So the gamblers must need to consider the people around the world for all suffering just because of not having money before gambling.

Luckily I started gambling early on in my life - 15-25 ish I was a losing gambler but luckily learning from mistakes after making them 10-20 times lol  IE dont chase etc. Luckily I turned into a break even gambler one starting to make actual money after graduating. I know make a small profit each year the past 4 years - I'm 38 and still around even and consider myself a good gambler! its a tough business.

Well, today I did a TF2 Uncrating (hoping to get a halloween unusual)

People lose their health, their sanity, and also their relationship, the money was and still is mainly irrelevant. You only live once and unfortunately time can't be bought back, so why you are gambling anyway?

I really can not say I have lost anything when it comes to BTC gambling.  I have been only using the BTC I earn in faucets and games, so I do not think I can consider it a loss when I did little to nothing to get it.  When I used to gamble with cash, I would loose all of the time.  I always thought I could get the next big win and all I ended up with is the next big broke pocket!!

when I chose to play gambling it is a choice. everyone has their choice. it should be appreciated. the risk that the final retained.

In BTC I haven't lost much, but in euros, before I start using coins, I lost 200 euros um a tennis match.
I was trading on Andy Murray, and he totally messed up my bets, and I really thought that he would tun the game around and kept my position open and lost the hole stack :/

You are lucky enough to stay in profit side in gambling by net amount even after some losses.
I do see from many people's experience here, sports betting are some what profitable compares to other gambling plays. This may be the reason for your profit.

I have lost 2btc's till date and won over 5btc's .So logically I havent really lost anything .When I started fresh as gambling I could not win at all and that was the period of me losing every day .I made a couple of things clear after that as follows
1.I will not keep changing or trying many dice sites .Stick only to one good site until all the losses are even .
2.Only two games a day ,win or lose .Helps me keep away from getting addicted .

I think till today i lost 5 to 6 BTC in gambling. most of time i will do betting on cricket that too T20 matches here last over match will be turn so i lost this much BTC.

what do you mean by saying that it is not fair? provably fairness make the games fair, but if you mean the house edge then it is totally normal, gambling games make money out of that

I lost almost nothing in gambling because I do not gamble a lot, I think I lost about 60 dollars in my total gambling career, I think gambling is mostly luck and also a bit of experience so I do not think I will make profit at the end.
This is also the reason why I not gamble a lot because I know I will not make profit at the end.

I lost not that many coins and that is not so bad. But gambling is not that bad. I only play with small amounts and that is good.
Or you must dont gamble that is the best option to save money. You have to control yourself.

I am a solid player. Not in for a big win or a big lose. So on average i lose max. .05 per game.

Why do you say that "game is not fair"? where do you play mostly? gambling site like fortunejack,primedice,betking etc.. have provably fair system each and every bet can be checked for fairness.

it is hard to say an exact amount that i have lost, because my gambling has been going on for a while now so i have to add up a lot of small amounts since i usually bet small but i think it would be around 0.01BTC lost.

I lost not that many money. But gambling is very bad and that is not good. But you never know. You must to be lucky to win some money in gambling.
But have luck in gambling is very very difficult, and people play till they will won. But they lose a lot of money.

I not lost a lot of bitcoin because of gambling because I'm not gambling much duo to the point I do not like it, I think I have a total of 0,3 bitcoin spend on gambling so that is pretty low.

I think at the end its good that I not gambled much and have lost much because its all just a game you are playing with bet rates..

I never lost a lot of gambling because I almost never gamble online, I think its not a fair if you understand me, I do not trust any online gambling website.
The rates are sometimes not trust worthy for me, I think I also scared to get addicted to it.
Another think is that I do not enjoy it most of the times because I know I'm busy with real money so.

I'm lose about 0.2 on gambling when I'm try to martiangle it. But lose at the end and I'm keep chasing my loss so I change my method.
My new method is low chance of winning but provide huge multiplier.... Still I have no luck for using that method although I'm ever won using that method before

lately I never gamble again, because the last time gambling, I're losing valuable my bitcoin, probably around 0.03 bitcoin. The numbers that much for me  :'(

fortunately my stats went up last days, but i'm always something like 0.04 under. When i'll lost a total amount of 0.10 i'll stop for sure

i didn't lose that much money in gambling, because i don't gamble a lot. And i know that i still won't win.
i guess i gamble when i'm bored or just having some fun, it's mostly only on sports betting.

Actually I haven't lost anything. You need to know how to gamble right. Just yesterday I won over 50mBTC. I withdrew it already and left some leftovers to gamble with again.. However it will end up I am still in profit so I cannot make losses unless I deposit more back. And that is not going to happen.

the largest amount I invested in my account in a gambling site is .001 btc but the biggest bet I did was .01 BTC, and that I guess is my biggest, but of course, there is faucet and I gain it back after days and just focus on betting what I got from faucets from that time..

LIke you idon't invest large amounts which makes my winnings and losings to a minimum which is something i can live with, because it is juts gambling.

I didnt lose anything since my balance on gambling sites came from other gamblers of that site that won a lot ;)
And I make those tips go high and win ;)

If you consider the Lottery gambling.  I spend a couple thousands of USD playing every year.  All it takes is winning once in my lifetime and I'm up BIG!  Still waiting though. lol

But still it's a money. Maybe losing 0.03 bitcoins is big for him. And for me, i lost so much money in gambling and it's really cost me. maybe around 2-5 bitcoins.

I lost .002+ in a gambling site,  but since I am not a real gambler, that is the only coins that I could risk and haven't do it again, except on free times and my bets are from their site alone..

In my lifetime, I would estimate that I have lost somewhere between $10K - $15K US. Maybe a little more, but definitely less than $20K(I hope  :D)

In the last 4 years or so, I've made a little over $5K US profit playing micro stakes poker according to my poker tracking stats. Hence, my estimation of losing less than $20K in overall gambling in my lifetime which includes poker, casino games, sports betting, horse racing, fantasy sports, betting on random shit, pitching coins, etc, etc.

i have been gambling for so long that i can't give any exact amount but i am sure of one thing, i have always been gambling with small amounts, giveaways and faucets so i haven't actually lost much of my own money.

I also did the same thing but I lost a lot of because of this all, I used small bets but still had a lot of lost money, I'm even in debt at the moment.
I'm stopped with gambling, and I hope that I will be the same as old very soon with a good amount of money that I'm saving.

Martingale is good though but you need some strategy and good balance to cover it so this will work. And I can say that huge multiplier is a really risky, and yes the payout is good but if you dont feel lucky enough better dont play with huge multiplier because that will cause your balance eaten up suddenly like for instant

I did not lose a lot by gambling because I never did it for a long time, I think I lost something near the 0.3 bitcoin in my whole career.
I consider that as not much at all, in my opinion its nothing compared with others here, tell me if I'm wrong.

I only have gambled 5 times in my life. I have lost $50 in these 5 times. Every time I'd go I played $10.
My luck is just bad I have not won anything. But I am not gambling to desperately make money but just more for fun. 

$50 dollars is big enough.. if they were all busted, then I hope that you have learn something in gambling..If no, then you have no future as a gambler, you will end up  doing the same thing you did in losing $50...

I think it is not too big I've ever come across someone who has a history of defeat more than that.

I did not lost a lot with gambling because I know how I can control myself and stop with it if I lost a certain amount.
The highest amount I totally lost in gambling with the bitcoin itself was around the 1,2 bitcoins overall.

Cool, it's very difficult to do. control yourself when gambling is very difficult to do, me have friends who are very fond of gambling, but he can not control himself while gambling, he even lost 0.1 BTC in 1 day

I am not remembered how much i lost bcz while doing gambling it's mixture result some times i won the bet some times i loose my bet so can't tell exactly but i am in lose not profit.

That's the story of everyone 'losing', i've lost .5 btc this year. my overall losses are over 2 bitcoins. only lucky ones are in profit. ;)

This questions remind me of my gambling addiction which i leave this past months.I remember my last day of gambling on bitsler primedice and fortunejack.That last day is my bigges lose on every site in total.I lose about 0.3 btc in that 3 sites which cause by my greedyness.Same that day i promise not to gamble anymore and focus on trading and i recovered my lose now

I lost on gambling not much maybe BTC0.1 , but i feel there is missing.
After i got some profit , and play again . And i lost my bitcoin because i'm greedy.

My loses are not so big till now its around 0.26 BTC and i think it can be get recover very easily, last year this amount was little bigger and luckily i got recover most of part of it with some back to back winning in a row with sports betting.

Actually i won't lost on any gambling i have profit fron different sites i profited almost .5BTC per day on different sites and sometimes losing but i will not stop until i get back my loss so now i have profited almost 5BTC. when i started playing gambling i always loss cause i don't know how that site works but now i have many strategies
