Title: Is there anyway to earn bitcoins via freelancing?
Post by: kevinpaladin on November 02, 2012, 05:32:38 AM
Hey there!

Is there any way to make bitcoins other than just using our computers' resources to solve puzzles and eventually earn'em? (Like freelancing)

Best way is to show what you can do and offer good prices.

Yes if you have skills there are people that are willing to pay for it. Right now web development is the best. That is how I make most my my coins.

Got it. Do you find it more profitable to work for bitcoin, than other currencies?

(PS - Is there a plural for bitcoin (like "bitcoins")? coz it shows a spelling mistake in the text box.)

I mean kinda I guess, cause when bitcoins where like $5, I had a couple jobs that paid very well, and now those coins are worth more cause btcs is around ~$11. So I guess it is, but you have to hold on to them for that.

Yes it can be profitable to work for bitcoin. If you offer a good service, sell a good product, do good marketing, etc. People need it - you provide it! Be inventive.

It would be great if people could offer personal experiences of doing just this for some inspiration.  I'm not saying I have, but I know such people exist, especially on these forums.

People who use Bitcoin are a representative sample of society.  They need all the goods and services anyone else does.  You will want to aim for services or goods that lend themselves to e-commerce, but every niche there can be explored.

I am hiring a fellow forum member to do some graphics work for bitcoin.  I'm not paying much, but it is a good example, try the services section of the forum.  Just be sure to provide a real service before you post, there is a lot of begging already and you will get passed over.
