For rewarding the hard work I will be giving BTC0.005 for the one who wins It must be no more than 120px wide, 80px tall, and 100 KB in size. It must be a PNG or JPEG format. It was allowed before (which some users still have gif avatars) but now it doesnt work. Up it to at least $5-10, really. $1.50 buys you like 10 minutes of work at the minimum wage for a lot of states, and the quality you will receive will generally follow that (10 minutes of work from someone who isn't that good). At least with $5 you might get 10 minutes of work from a decent GFX artist. Edit: Mine was a combination of "random" searching for "mesmer", closest thing to my username that made sense, and got a picture from google images and asked cyrus to edit it for me.
