OB has won the mayoral elections in a number of cities, including Slavyansk and Lisichansk. They are also leading in a number of other important cities, such as Krivyy Rog and Dnipropetrovsk.

In the real life they're supporting junta in comprehensive manner. Just for example, Obozrevatel daily and Inter TV channel, which are owned by this so-called "Opposition Bloc", are full of ridiculous propaganda. In terms of following the state narrative, these "opposition" media are even more crazy than Poroshenko's own TV channel. That's why turnout is extremely low, people know that there is simply nothing to choose. Even a rigged election is better than dictatorship. A rigged election process can be fixed. It can be righted. This is a step in the correct direction, no?

In order to vote they will have to submit their passports with their ermanent address. If their addresses are taken and a new draft follows they will be oblidged to go to the frontline which they don't want.
