Title: You have MTGOXUSD? Give them a little boost - over 13% a year - 5000+ USD needed
Post by: unclescrooge on November 07, 2012, 10:22:14 AM
Yeah I know it's not the ponzi rates you may find here. But if you have idle usd on mtgox, why not give them a little something to grow? I am always in need of USD for the platform bitfinex.com, where almost all users want to open long positions.

I currently offer 13.62% a year, compounded daily.

If interested, you can register on bitfinex.com or send me a PM if you don't want to deal with the website.

Thanks,
Raphael

i'm just going to leave this here.

Now that Pirateat40 closed down his operatations thanks to all the fud that was going on and growing on the forum, I expect everyone that spreads this fud, accused and insulted Pirate and the people that supported him to apologize.

Not only did Pirate brought us a great opportunity for investors (once in a lifetime actually), he did help stabilise and grow steadily bitcoin price, volume exchange, and thus contributed to the success of bitcoin. For that, Pirate, I want to thank you. You've done a wonderful work, and I hope you're stay around here.

Now, apologies on.

So?  He said that months ago, and I'm pretty sure he feels very differently now.

OMG he must be pirate.  Now he's back offering 13% a year, instead of every two weeks.

Sneaky little shit

So?  He said that months ago, and I'm pretty sure he feels very differently now.

It goes to the credibility of the operation.  Do you really want to be lending money to someone (no offense unclescrooge) that was so incredibly stupid that he couldn't see a ponzi staring him in the face (and yes Pirate's "business" was the most pathetically obvious ponzi you could imagine).  Not only did he not see the ponzi but once it closed down (as all ponzi eventually do) he was so blinded by pure faith (or cronyism) that he was demanding people apologize to a ponzi scammer.

It wasn't a rhetorical question.  It reflects on the financial acumen of the investor who is seeking a long term deposit.  Do you think that increases or decreases the risk of default?
