Title: Anyone encountered account loss @ sealswithclubs
Post by: dangelus on November 08, 2012, 10:55:16 AM
So, I signed up at Seals last night after reading about and remembering the poker bug (read: addiction).

Did the usual stuff, using no email, generated managed passwords etc. I login and then fall asleep on the sofa.

Wake up this morning, went to login...

"Ooops! It looks like your username or password isn’t working. Why not try logging in again. If you don’t have an account yet, then click on the register link to create one and get in on the action."

My senses tingled. I sent them $10 before I fell asleep last night.

I am 99% sure nothing has changed. The password manager file has not been updated and I know I logged in. I have the BlockChain transaction notes etc.

Has anyone had anything like this? :-s

I would really like to get back into playing, but cannot justify sending any more money to an anonymous account if it is going to be effectively confiscated the next day. I cannot imagine this is a standard practice and likewise, I cannot imagine that the password manager is telling me the wrong password when it created the thing.

REALLY hoping it is user error of some sort. Have sent an email to Seals support, but was wondering if anyone here has had an experience akin to this?

Thanks

I'm not sure what happened yet, but I'm helping him out.
