The price is rising good. the buy orders seem to be accumulating. Do you think we might see a big dump before it grows steadily to $400?

Would this be a pump to go up to $400?

There is a chance that we can reach $400 I think if the pumping is continuously happening.
That is my fear when this sudden increase happens there is a high possibily that there is also the sudden drop of price. Who knows what will happen when 2016 starts? It's all speculations. I'm just hoping that if then the price increase stop, atleast the price could settle aroun $300 - $400

I think sudden jump from 250 range to 400 is not good. Because this is more than 50% jump in short period so it may not survive at that high price for long time. It is always slow and study movements can survive for long time. If it goes to 400 range then I will sell my 50% bitcoins and then wait for lower price to buy. :)

Ultimately it's more reassuring than it having happened over the course of a couple of days. It's been a long time building. I'm not particularly arsed if there's a dump. Any positive price action is nice sign of further ones in the future.

It certainly has been a rough year for Bitcoin but I'm beginning to think the price of Bitcoin is on a steady incline. I think we are finally beginning to see Bitcoin start to bounce back and become a new standard currency.

You can say that again. I read that one guy bought March of 2014 and just now in the past week has made some thing off his buy of a few coins. That would certainly be a long year of distrust to me in an emerging entity. I would have given up on them after 1 solid year, so I would of sold them at $219 just to try to break even seeing it as an investment that failed.
Bravo to the ones who stuck with it thus far.

i can't think of a reason why we shouldn't be able to reach $800. but if that's going to happen, then it is most likely next year, just before the block halving.

People said the same goddamn thing about $400. This shit isn't going to stay in the 3 digits before the block halving comes.

We are looking at BTC going to $10,000 in the long term. Even at $475 its a bargain considering that its regularly in use and the difficulty continues to rise over time. In 2016, there will be a split in reward, take that into consideration!

All of you will be crying babies when it reaches $10,000 and more and complain about not having bought enough.

If you think it will go to $10000 then current price is a joke. Which means you should buy and hold if you have believe in Bitcoin. I am happy if we see $2000 coins at some point. After that we'll see where the price goes further.

Yeah, but now it seems the price increase is loosing some steam and we might see a crash very soon! Let's hope not, or if it happens, I hope it can recover real quick.

$500 is about double the average price of the entire year. Double the price in a few days is a dangerous price point, where selling half of what you bought to hold free btc is generally a really smart move.
