Title: Liquidcoin
Post by: questionstorm on November 09, 2012, 12:12:11 AM
I try out alternative coins at the moment, and liquidcoin seems to be broken:

Code:
$ liquidcoind getinfo
{
    "version" : 50003,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 1000,
    "connections" : 3,
    "proxy" : "",
    "generate" : false,
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "difficulty" : 0.05000000,
    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "networkhashps" : 12121262,
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1352415099,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "errors" : "WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct!  You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."
}

It's the latest version from github, and it stopped downloading the block chain at 1000.
How can I cure it?

Try restarting it and see if it continues the download.

No, it didn't help.  In the debug log I can see a lot of "connection timeout" messages
and only a few successful connection entries.

Try deleting the blkindex.dat file and restarting.

Didn't help either.  It start over downloading the blocka from zero, but
at the moment it reaches 1000, the above error message appears at the

Code:
    "errors" : "....."

line of the getinfo JSON, and stops going further.

Hi,

Sorry for the pause here...

Yes, I've downloaded it, thank you very much for your help.

Actually it didn't solve the problem.  The blocks are okay in the chain, but
it just can't get the next one (after your chain).

I give up. :(

...but thanks again.

Ah, how do you know it's "correct"? :-)
