Title: Casascius 1BTC Silver 2013 Ungraded - Fully loaded
Post by: physalis on November 01, 2015, 06:23:03 PM
I'm looking to sell one of my 2013 Silver Casascius 1 BTC coins.
The coin is ungraded (I have absolutely no experience with that), but in top condition as far as I can tell.

Starting Bid: 2BTC
Bidding Increments: .01BTC
Ending Time: 11/08/2015 (November 8th) @ 8:00PM UTC
Sniping: Not allowed - last bid extends auction by 10 minutes.

Item is located in Germany, domestic shipping free, international 0.1 BTC

Happy bidding!

It means people will have to bear win the shipping cost?

As stated in the OP, shipping within Germany I'll throw in for free, international shipping adds 0.1BTC to the final bid.

I would like to say you might want to try selling at that price. I wouldn't mind bidding on it, if the opening bid was lower.

Would you mind explaining why the price should be so low?
2 BTC is pretty much the original price I bought it for, and I wouldn't want to sell for anything lower than that, was actually expecting quite a bit more by now.
I've seen them go for way over 3 BTC here before.

If this actually doesn't get bids, I'm probably going through the trouble of getting it graded. Like I said, as far as my layman eye can tell, it's in perfect condition.

2BTC is definitely a fair price. The market has dipped a bit, which is why it might be a little harder to sell. It still does seem like a great coin though.

Because it is not graded is pretty much why. If this were MS-67+ it would easily fetch 2.5BTC+

OK I didn't expect it to be that important.
I assumed that quality of coins can be assessed quite well from pictures.

Since there are no bids yet, I'll end this auction early and come back when I've had the coin graded.

Thanks for the helpful comments guys.
