Not sure why armory is showing me this beautiful amount of bitcoins but it is. Don't worry they are unspendable lol Already tried to send myself a few million.

Has this ever happened to any of you?

So any trick to spend more than you have normally?
This seems to be very interesting and good that you took a screenshot.
Try to break the limit of total 21 million coins :P

Report to the developers, they will love to see it and investigate WTF happened.

I think there is a wallet section somewhere in this forum

seems to be a bug in armory and not bitcoin protocols..

i seem to remember if you used the 'move' command instead of transfering funds using addresses. it would sometimes cause a minus balance on some and a plus balance on others (within a program, not the actual blockchain bitcoin addresses)

did you use any features like this instead of just sending funds to new addresses the proper bitcoin transaction method.. as that might explain armory's glitch with its accounting.

(forgive me, never used armory so not sure if it uses all of the bitcoinD RPC commands)

If you would've been able to spend those, you would've literally broken bitcoin single handedly.

So who is now getting armory to try and replicate this bug? Just for lulz.

Well that's awesome! Actually a bit disappointing that they're unspendable. If they weren't would you have given them out for free? What would you have done? :)

that would instantly crash the bitcoin market and make many of us poor.

Yeah, but if he just destroyed the coins and the decs fixed the exploit then I guess it wouldn't crash.

Ofcourse it would, once it gets out that after 6 years, coins can be created out of thin air, people will be scrambling to get out..

One of the worst things that can happen at this stage I guess.

It is a nice bug for the holders. Unfortunately you cannot spend it as it is not recognized by the network. Please report to the developers.

Looks like an overflow IMHO.

AFAIK armory has a build in report bug function, its probably the time to use it.

OMG you're so lucky, oh wait, it didn't work, how sad. If I saw that number in my Bitcoin wallet I would have absolutely shat my pants. How unfortunate that you couldn't spend it. Imagine that you got that amount and you could actually spend it, what would you do?

To me never. Fortunately. Because it will be a very hard thing for me to confront the inability to own even part of those. I would be in front of my computer for hours and hours only to find a way to send some of those to another my wallet. Then i will do the good guy and will notify the support of the above wallet about this case.  ;)

Everything written above by me is a hidden desire. But the first thing I would do (after only two-three times of trying to send some of those elsewhere only to see if this was possible but not to own those) it would be the ticket to support asking the why of this event. Maybe they might give me some of those to honor my good behavior.
