Title: Any one try bloombtc?
Post by: tdde1 on November 03, 2015, 12:51:42 PM
I just saw this website bloombtc.com, you need to invest at least BTC 0,001 and you get a return of 0.1% Hourly (according to the web site) is it legit? is a scam? did anyone try this?

Its a ponzi.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned by the operator. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent.

I tried it, it paid me, seems very well designed doesn't advertise outrageous interest rates either.  Looks to be pretty stable.  Invest at your own risk though.

Don't invest. I took one look at the website and turned right away.
It is full of security issues.
So major sign that they will get your coins and run fairly quickly.

You have made a wise decision by not investing in that program because they are now offline.

Seems legit to me. I'm invested and am paying out just fine, 6 weeks until ROI then 2.4% profit every day is great for not having to do anything. Plus 5% referral commission on every deposit the person you refer makes.

But we can't guarantee the site will be online till 6 weeks

Indeed, we can't. Investments involve a certain level of risk. Don't invest too much until it's more established I suppose. I know I won't be until I hit ROI in 6 weeks. I'm only in for a couple hundred until I hit ROI.
Couple hundred satoshis, dollars, or bitcoin :o? Just want to clarify this so I know how to view you when this falls apart.

I'm in it, it's a ponzi for sure, but I think it'll pay for a while.

Dollars. How do you know for certain it will fail exactly? It's not like some ponzi scheme where "you, yes you, can get up to 25% roi within only one week! That's right, only one week! Sign up today!" It's only 2.4% daily.

Also, I didn't click on some ponzi scheme looking banner ad, or some random person add me and tell me about how I can get rich quick. I was referred by my friend, who also has cashed out without a hitch and is making profit.
ok... this is a while ago already so why we have to care about this anyway? It will turn scam soon if It hasn't

So you still getting paid from this site?
It has been awhile and wanting to know if it is still operational or just a dead site now.
Was going to start a thread asking about it but did a search and came across this outdated topic.
Hopefully someone can give me some feedback before I place any bits into this Ponzi  :D

Now my confirmation is complete. It is not a site to put anything into if false claims are coming in too try andd bring in more victims to this scheme.
Appreciate this observation Noel57 ;)

im not creating this account for the sake of this site,,, im just informing others that it is still paying. im actually at my ROI now at this site, and im not investing more because it is a ponzi site and will collapse eventually but yeah more than a month after it still pays......

The site is paying , I do not understand why people post things on here like "its a ponzi" "A ponzi is a fraudulent investment company" "It will collapse in 6 weeks" its the investor based games section you people say the same shit every time someone posts something.  Go to a different section of the forum if thats all you are going to say, we KNOW ITS A PONZI ALREADY, everything in this section is Ponzi based.  Its an investment game.

It's still paying out for me, but I just released my deposit and withdrew my full balance. Probably could have stayed in longer, but I try to recycle these HYIP sites and keep my deposits in the newer/fresher ones.

You don't even need to visit the website to know it's a scam, and I'd bet that OP is a shill as well.  Anytime you're promised hourly returns, it's a Ponzi or some other nefarious scheme that needs to be stayed away from.  Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but this forum does tend to foster such a feeling.   :P

I know what you mean this programs been around for like 2 months or more already, usually programs like this last for about 100 days and then fall off minute-btc is also a long haul program with the same specs.

Yep, I agree. I'll be withdrawing my minuteBTC deposit within the next week :)

My rules for investing/gambling with deposits to HYIP/ponzi sites are:
  • Get in early
  • Get some profit
  • Get out quickly
  • and most importantly, don't get greedy

Just put 0.047btc into this. So $20 worth of bitcoins is yielding $0.05 worth of bitcoin every 2 hours (2 claims).
I'll let it ride as long as I can.

bear in mind that you need to pay 5% fee of what you release, making it necessary to stay atleast 50 hours (=> 50*.001= 5%) to make any profit

Yes that can be done if you change the compounding amount on you deposit to split it between your balances in each.
Its not bad system only if you know when to release your deposit.

yes indeed, but there is still a 5% that you lose for the part not compounding :p I was just saying that before you release your resources, to make sure you've been running more than 2 days. That is if you do not wish to end with losses...

Well aware of that and I am sure mostly everybody checks this before putting any money into these investment "games", as we all know there is no such thing as free money or in this case no such thing as free bitcoin. We all know we will be paying a service charge for any investments we make. They of course want their 'cut' too out of the profits or they will not be able to continue to operate and will fold sooner then they plan on too.
On the btc I put in I paid 0.002btc in this 5% "service fee" and having it in there for less than 2 weeks
is not too bad to me. $0.8 is not very much compared to what I made for bitcoins that would of been idle not collecting interest on them anyways.
The main point to put out is: Don't put into these programs more than you afford to lose.
