Post by: DOGE12321 on November 04, 2015, 07:54:48 AM
Here are some ways to keep your personal bitcoin safe:

Don't Use Web Wallets

Maintain Separate 'Hot' and 'Cold’ Wallets

Store Private Keys Offline

Use Dedicated Hardware

Use Linux on Online and Offline Computers

Keep Secure Offsite Backups of Bitcoin Wallets

Use a Type 2 Deterministic Wallet

Use Fragmented Backups

Use a Hardware Wallet

Another way is to store it is a USB: WARNING: don’t be the idiot that loses the USB. And don’t blame me if you lose it. Other than that is a good way to store bitcoin

Also DO NOT use an iOS devices to store you bitcoin as they have been 0-day'd.
Thats right, a bounty of $1 000 000 has been claimed by a group of hackers who have managed to break into the iOS security system via the web browser (safari).
The exploits used to accomplish this task were sold to a firm who will now (probably) sell these exploits to the government.
