The transaction fee (0.00009572 BTC) is a bit small for a 1224-byte transaction.
See https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees for an explanation and standard fees (don't know whether the numbers are representative, miners may have their own policies).
Did your wallet software compute the fee? Maybe you need to change the settings to some higher value.
Your transaction should be mined eventually, it might just take a little longer.

No, never heard of this before.
You only have to wait few hours to get your transaction confirmed.
To prevent this in the future, just make a higher fee (0.0002 btc for example)

There is a mechanism called CPFP (child pays for parent) which is currently implemented by one pool only as far as I know (Eligius).
This mechanism allows you to send a transaction spending one of the outputs of the original transaction with a higher fee that would suffice for both transactions. A Miner implementing CPFP can get the fee from this second transaction only if it includes the first transaction, too.
However, I would not put too much hope on CPFP - I just found a reddit thread discussion this, and it looks like it's not really working: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3r1dad/what_pools_implement_cpfp/

So apparently your only option is to wait. Eventually your transaction will be mined.

No it cannot be speed up your transaction you should be wait a couple of hours.Because you have medium priority with 0.00009572 btc fee thats why your transaction is low.
if your transaction still not coinfirm. It will be rejected..
So next time if you send high amount of bitcoin you need to put a little bit high fee. to dont get this issue again...

CPFP is the only way to "speed it up". Other than that OP's transaction will get confirmed anytime from now to a few days. If OP want a chance at doing it faster, Eligius is the only way to go.

I expect it's mainly because of the current price excitement. Coins are flying in and out of exchanges and recent blocks have been full. Once it calms down it'll be business as normal.

Thats normal, coz some people don't want bitcoin to improve :P so we have this problem.
But its minor problem overall :P

Hello,

I used the standart settings from bitcoin core wallet....

use the fee slider:

Code:
block	| fee in satoshi per 1000 byte
---------------------------------------
1 | -1 (not enough data)
2 | 19823
3 | 16448
4 | 13752
5-6 | 13752
7-9 | 12529
10-12 | 7835
13+ | 5219

you are somewhere in the 10-12 blocks area. I noticed that the lower regions are not as reliable. Go for the 2-4 blocks setting, they are good estimates most of the time.
