I reviewed the site and it is definitely unique.  I am not understanding one thing though:
You are saying that the lowest unique bid is the winning bid.  Since this is an auction style, a bid is a bid and I o not understand if there is a cost for the bid.  For example, if I bid .00031231 as my bid, do I have to pay that amount in order to take that bid amount?   Will there be shipping charges on the items won, or will all winning items be digital or virtual?  Just a few questions I did not understand or see answered. 

I don't understand how you reviewed the site, which still closed. I will wait until opening after which it will be possible to make any conclusions.

In "Unique Bid Auctions" every user will pay a small fee (1 credit) for each bid independently of the amount of the bid.

Example:
1. If user "a" will make a bid of 0.0001 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit.
2. If user "b" will make a bid of 0.0001 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit.
3. If user "c" will make a bid of 0.0003 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit.
4. If user "d" will make a bid of 0.0025 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit.
5. If user "e" will make a bid of 0.0400 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit.
6. If user "e" will make a bid of 0.0500 BTC, he will pay only 1 additional credit (2 total credits).

At the end of the auction the winner, to collect the prize, will pay the amount of winning bid (in our example: user "c" with 0.0003 BTC, the lowest and unique bid).

For the beginning items are only digital or virtual, in the future, just insert even physical object, we will see what will be best to do about shipping costs.

I personally think that, unless Chainbid gets promoted much more, the site won't be successful the way it is now.

Because:
It needs ~100 bids for an auction to be fully completed (a prize is rewarded to the winner) [apart from Minecraft of course].

 This means there have to be at least 100 active users in order to reach this state.
Right now I don't see any auction even close to the set limit --> it is likely to fail.
If many auctions fail, there is no real reason to take part in an auction, because it will fail anyway.

If you make a very little effort to promote the site then your site will be dead soon. Even a site that promote it heavily is not guarantee to success here. I have seen alot site that dont promote and fail here

Just to get one thing straight. I know sites like this, but you are actually making bids on things you want to buy. It's the same system, the lowest bid wins. But on you concept we are trying to win prizes, and not actually buying stuff right?

Seems to be a unique gambling experience .However I still have no clue on how to decide the bid winner? The one with the lowest possible bids win right? What if bids from the two or more users collide?You can use a private key for two way authorization for each bidder to keep it more transparent maybe.The bidding time frame is too big I mean 18 hours is just too much to wait.You can use small bids and winning amounts by introducing small time frames.

Bid are made through credits, not in bitcoin, we can not implement a multisig for deals then. Currently we have trouble getting a quorum with 12 hours away from an auction and the other we can not reduce this time

Hello. i recommend doing less min quote auctions... 200-250 is so much for a start website... you can increase later when you increase your active client number, also try some giveaways to attract people

They do have some giveaway at the games and round thread but it seems the number of people playing there is only there to play with the giveaway credit so there is almost no real player there

make some free auction, every 1h or 30min, each people can only bid 5 times (something like that), the reward can be credits for real auction bet use only (to evite abuse)
... so people will know how your website works and start getting interested... and you'll start having active players

The auction reopened and I was bidding. While it was still running, and I placed a bid, it vanished again. The timer DID NOT run out.

Edit: The first time, I won it. Then when you reopened (I wasn't reloading this thread, lucky I found out) it and I saw I was outbid, I outbid it, then I was outbid, then I did it again, then I was outbid, the timer hadn't run out and I couldn't outbid the next.

i was following this last 0.1 BTC no req auction

it had 17 bids, and last seconds ndnhc bet from near 0.005 to 0.075 = (70 bids) you can check the history

Prize is 0.1 BTC... 70 bets in best way, buying 100 +12 cost 0.1540 BTC... so each bet cost 0.001375 BTC
so ndnhc spend 0.001375 * 70 = 0.09625 BTC

profit = 0.00375 BTC, he still need to pay the win bid amount..., so profit is something like 0 BTC...

it mean... ndnhc win nothing... and 17 bets are lost... and house profit 17 bets

Nah, let me explain what happened.

I bought 112 credits because I wanted to win the first 0.1BTC option. It was undoubtedly +EV, and I won it.

But I was simply reloading it, after kind of 10 minutes since I had no idea how to claim it, when I saw the timer suddenly counting from 2 minutes or so. I was confused and placed a few bids and was beaten by a series of bids placed in the last 2 seconds. But OP honored both considering that the bug was not any players' fault and did a pretty nice job in paying out both winners. He could simply have refunded the credits and voided the auction. I appreciate him for what he did. :)

Now, you see, I only have 0.052 to break-even. Given that I cannot cash it out directly, all I could is to beat the last minute bidder, one guy who makes a lot of bets in the last seconds. I made a series of bets such that this guy would need to have more than the number of credits I bid to beat me to it. I had lost like 20 credits to this guy, and had only 82 left, couldn't risk it anymore. So, I played safe and went near all-in to win 0.1BTC.
It also beats the logic you gave such that if I was OP, I would be bidding just what I would need to win. Certainly not like 70 credits.
I also have a PM from Chainbid, and all my transactions are available.

tl;dr
I started with 0.1540BTC
I now have 0.1BTC + 0.1BTC + 12 credits
Which part doesn't make sense to you?


Edit: If you participated in a lottery draw, and you were declared the winner, and later the host said some were not able to buy lottery tickets (I know this is a stupid example ;D) and extends the lottery for another day and declared another winner, would you accept that?

Nice concept. What is the value of the average bidding auctions available?
I saw 0.1 BTC, do you have anything bigger than that?

1. i think is a good idea the random expiration to mined block
2. without doubt, i prefer low value (but for me 0,1 not is low value) but without quorum. in 3 minutes end the 0,1 btc auction and have 10/50

Do you guys plan to build bigger auctions for high level players
Like 5 BTC / 10 BTC ?

So you bid 'credits' on the amount and who ever bids the most wins?
I'm not sure why anyone would play, because what stops someone from just betting .099 on an auction of .1 every time and taking .001 profit... just to win the auction.

Is in our ambitions and desires but rushes before you to  buy a bit 'of credits guys. ;)

Its very low possibility to win if you only have 10 credits, so to win a bid to need to have atleast 100 credits and up to have a higher chances to get the bid in your favor.

wow, i must say that random deadline is very cool...

i made a 50 range bid... after that the time run out... and alot of ppl started to bid on it..., and each time closer to beat me
I got very high adrenaline, just hoping to finish soon, beside to be a play game that was very fun and dynamic for me

also you got the highest bid until now

I want to ask why I didnt win for last 0.05 bitcoin? I just make a bid and I think I won but I dont see any of my winning prize in my wallet. Can you explain this? I make 10 bids

No, we have not closed, it's just that unfortunately there are still a few players.  :)

We are trying to solve the problem of credibility in us, for this and the Lottery project, we have always paid all winners in past auctions but still is not enough.

We are also working on an implementation very important that we can't anticipate now but that still hasn't been completed. So, continues to follow us and play with us.

And still checks the site because every time we do auctions without a quorum, where there is certainly a winner :)

But this past 2 games I just saw on each game there is quorum like you said so if I keep on playing but there are not enough bid to the quorum so I will never make it right? My credit will keep on being refund after playing that. Why you dont lower the quorum make it half of it may be people can start joining here
