Title: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on November 06, 2015, 10:32:35 AM ChainBid.com (https://www.chainbid.com/) http://www.chainbid.com/images/Flyer.jpg (https://www.chainbid.com/) Hi people! We are pleased to introduce you ChainBid, the first website of UNIQUE BID AUCTIONS in the Bitcoin world! We start apologizing for any grammatical error. English is not our native language. In fact, if you notice any errors, we would be pleased if you could let us know about. We will reward your help with a small gift (credits bonus for our game). CHAIN BID The project we are about to launch, is the first (based on bitcoin) that allows you to win prizes at very low prices through the mechanism of the unique bid auction. As you can see and read in the flyer above, the operation is very simple. Each auction on the site will be won by the lowest, as well as unique, bid presented. Yesterday, on our web address (chainbid.com (https://www.chainbid.com/)), we set a countdown that will end with the launch of the site. PROVABLY FAIR We are committed to achieve a system of provably fair as transparent as possible. At the end of an auction, each submitted bid will be followed by an hash in order to ensure bidder that the winning bet was real and not contrived. If you find better ways of tracing the bids, please feel free to let us know in our thread. We look forward to implementing them to ensure more transparency. SPECIAL LAUNCH To launch ChainBid (before the end of the countdown), we're going to give 10 free credits to anyone who asks for them on our official thread of bitcointalk.org The only requirement is to be at least one user Jr. Member on bitcointalk.org GOOD GAME Hoping to have launched a funny and enjoyable game, we wish you good luck. UPDATE 11/10 We opened a specific thread for request of promo free credits in Games and Round, because, from regulation, we should not do it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242610 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242610) This thread will remain still our main to keep you informed and communicate directly with our customers. I just have a question: Will there be a built-in maximum per bid? I know it doesn't make sense to bid more than you could win, but as Einstein said: "There are two infinite things in our world: The universe and human stupidity" Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: bitstealth on November 09, 2015, 10:52:23 AM Interesting betting concept to place bid there site looking unique and cool and i am hopeful this will attract so many people to place bid there to get huge profit become the winner, i also interested in giveaway promo offer.

I am not understanding one thing though:
You are saying that the lowest unique bid is the winning bid. Since this is an auction style, a bid is a bid and I o not understand if there is a cost for the bid. For example, if I bid .00031231 as my bid, do I have to pay that amount in order to take that bid amount? Will there be shipping charges on the items won, or will all winning items be digital or virtual? Just a few questions I did not understand or see answered. In "Unique Bid Auctions" every user will pay a small fee (1 credit) for each bid independently of the amount of the bid. Example: 1. If user "a" will make a bid of 0.0001 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit. 2. If user "b" will make a bid of 0.0001 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit. 3. If user "c" will make a bid of 0.0003 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit. 4. If user "d" will make a bid of 0.0025 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit. 5. If user "e" will make a bid of 0.0400 BTC, he will pay only 1 credit. 6. If user "e" will make a bid of 0.0500 BTC, he will pay only 1 additional credit (2 total credits). At the end of the auction the winner, to collect the prize, will pay the amount of winning bid (in our example: user "c" with 0.0003 BTC, the lowest and unique bid). For the beginning items are only digital or virtual, in the future, just insert even physical object, we will see what will be best to do about shipping costs. if you have more questions please feel free to ask :) Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on November 10, 2015, 06:53:18 PM <48 hours to the launch. Because: It needs ~100 bids for an auction to be fully completed (a prize is rewarded to the winner) [apart from Minecraft of course]. This means there have to be at least 100 active users in order to reach this state. Right now I don't see any auction even close to the set limit --> it is likely to fail. If many auctions fail, there is no real reason to take part in an auction, because it will fail anyway. ==> The site will go down after some time. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong :) Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on November 13, 2015, 11:18:20 AM I personally think that, unless Chainbid gets promoted much more, the site won't be successful the way it is now. I know sites like this, but you are actually making bids on things you want to buy. It's the same system, the lowest bid wins. But on you concept we are trying to win prizes, and not actually buying stuff right?
Both are quite interesting, specially with btc, so I want to see how this one goes. If we are actually buying things do you deliver worldwide? What if more than 1 player wins? Is it possible? Would the prize be shared? What happens if the "quorum" of an auction is not reached but the timer runs out? i want to know if someone already bid with amount 0.0004, can i bid with the same amount ? Yeah you can. :) Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: 155UE on November 13, 2015, 05:03:44 PM I see the bid is over. Who won the 0.1 ?
Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ndnh on November 13, 2015, 05:33:37 PM Read and got answers to some of my questions.
I like the concept, but just need something to guarantee that you would actually payout. I see the bid is over. Who won the 0.1 ? No one. 8) All auctions have a deadline. In the unlikely event that the auction, at the end, does not have a unique offer, the auction will be canceled and receivables credited to those who joined the auction. The auction is effective when it reaches the minimum number of tenders given. If the auction does not reach this minimum, it is canceled and credits will be returned to the partecipants. The one with the lowest possible bids win right? What if bids from the two or more users collide? You can use a private key for two way authorization for each bidder to keep it more transparent maybe. The bidding time frame is too big I mean 18 hours is just too much to wait. You can use small bids and winning amounts by introducing small time frames.

Bid are made through credits, not in bitcoin, we can not implement a multisig for deals then. Currently we have trouble getting a quorum with 12 hours away from an auction and the other we can not reduce this time Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: markzenn11 on November 16, 2015, 04:51:57 PM ive requested credits on a ticket at my chainbid.com account username markzenn11 We loaded on your profile the 10 free credits you booked. i was following this last 0.1 BTC no req auction it had 17 bids, and last seconds ndnhc bet from near 0.005 to 0.075 = (70 bids) you can check the history Prize is 0.1 BTC... 70 bets in best way, buying 100 +12 cost 0.1540 BTC... so each bet cost 0.001375 BTC so ndnhc spend 0.001375 * 70 = 0.09625 BTC profit = 0.00375 BTC, he still need to pay the win bid amount..., so profit is something like 0 BTC... it mean... ndnhc win nothing... and 17 bets are lost... and house profit 17 bets i don't understand your point ndnhc, can you explain that? and i know you are very experience guy in this forum, you won't do a math mistake like this. what you did is basically cut all bids and give house free profit, ... what's not fair. because no one will bid more than the pot value waitting for a explanation... also we have some strange things like... a problem with a bid and ndnhc received a extra 0.1 BTC... ndnhc offering to pay the 0.0028 from this another guy... it looks like ndnhc is the chainbid owner for me Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on November 21, 2015, 05:11:30 PM Chain Bid confirm that user NDNHC is not part of our staff and do not even we had the pleasure of knowing him personally.
Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ndnh on November 21, 2015, 05:50:11 PM i don't understand your point ndnhc, can you explain that? and i know you are very experience guy in this forum, you won't do a math mistake like this. what you did is basically cut all bids and give house free profit, ... what's not fair. because no one will bid more than the pot value waitting for a explanation... also we have some strange things like... a problem with a bid and ndnhc received a extra 0.1 BTC... ndnhc offering to pay the 0.0028 from this another guy... it looks like ndnhc is the chainbid owner for me Nah, let me explain what happened. I bought 112 credits because I wanted to win the first 0.1BTC option. It was undoubtedly +EV, and I won it. But I was simply reloading it, after kind of 10 minutes since I had no idea how to claim it, when I saw the timer suddenly counting from 2 minutes or so. I was confused and placed a few bids and was beaten by a series of bids placed in the last 2 seconds. But OP honored both considering that the bug was not any players' fault and did a pretty nice job in paying out both winners. He could simply have refunded the credits and voided the auction. I appreciate him for what he did. :) Now, you see, I only have 0.052 to break-even. Given that I cannot cash it out directly, all I could is to beat the last minute bidder, one guy who makes a lot of bets in the last seconds. I made a series of bets such that this guy would need to have more than the number of credits I bid to beat me to it. I had lost like 20 credits to this guy, and had only 82 left, couldn't risk it anymore. So, I played safe and went near all-in to win 0.1BTC. It also beats the logic you gave such that if I was OP, I would be bidding just what I would need to win. Certainly not like 70 credits. I also have a PM from Chainbid, and all my transactions are available. tl;dr I started with 0.1540BTC I now have 0.1BTC + 0.1BTC + 12 credits Which part doesn't make sense to you? Edit: If you participated in a lottery draw, and you were declared the winner, and later the host said some were not able to buy lottery tickets (I know this is a stupid example ;D) and extends the lottery for another day and declared another winner, would you accept that? I, by the way, got the same rights. :) And it was settled generously by the OP, and I thank him for the same. For the helping a fellow human being to claim his prize, is it such a big deal? This is the first trust feedback I got back in 2013: Jaaawsh -2: -1 / +0 2014-09-04 0.00200000 Sent me a couple mBTC so I could get a betting promo. Really appreciate it! It is kinda mind-blowing that I could be so many people at once. You don't have to hide behind an alt. You can raise your concerns openly. No? seriously? I did put everything here: Quote i don't understand your point ndnhc, can you explain that? and i know you are very experience guy in this forum, you won't do a math mistake like this. what you did is basically cut all bids and give house free profit, ... what's not fair. because no one will bid more than the pot value waitting for a explanation... also we have some strange things like... a problem with a bid and ndnhc received a extra 0.1 BTC... ndnhc offering to pay the 0.0028 from this another guy... it looks like ndnhc is the chainbid owner for me Nah, let me explain what happened. Quote i want your soul. Not for sale. 8) Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: wroniewicz on November 21, 2015, 07:21:19 PM who wont my ref liink from chainbid?

We are now working to implement some features that increase the transparency of the auction. In this regard we would like to do a survey to know your opinion on two questions: 1) What do you think if we tie the expiration of the auction randomically to mined blocks? 2) Do you prefer auctions from higher value but related to quorum or auctions much smaller but with no quorum? Please give us your opinion. Thank you :) Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: klutzbelgian on November 24, 2015, 01:25:02 AM I prefer dynamic auctions... small values with no quorum

Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on December 09, 2015, 12:54:33 PM hello, what define the changes on credit package price? The price of the package is variable and follows the trend of bitcoin with reference to our internal change. In order not to let the cost of our package fluctuate continuously, we bound the amount to the fourth decimal instead of the canonical eighth. Therefore the price shall be stable, except in rare cases. Indicatively, the credit cost, without discounts, is of about 0.50 $ (50 cents). Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: RealPhotoshoper on December 15, 2015, 04:30:28 AM ChainBid.com (https://www.chainbid.com/) http://www.chainbid.com/images/Flyer.jpg (https://www.chainbid.com/) Hi people! Staff ChainBid. UPDATE 11/10 We opened a specific thread for request of promo free credits in Games and Round, because, from regulation, we should not do it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242610 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242610) This thread will remain still our main to keep you informed and communicate directly with our customers. good luck for chainbid, thanks for awesome game. So if it never valid so how is it? No one will get the bidding prize? And this game will closed? And I can't get back my deposit so it will be like donation to their site? ;D Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on December 18, 2015, 10:25:26 AM there is a minimum quote, if it don't reach it, the game is not valid, and i think the credits are refunded to players Yeah I got my credits back. We are also working on an implementation very important that we can't anticipate now but that still hasn't been completed. So, continues to follow us and play with us. And still checks the site because every time we do auctions without a quorum, where there is certainly a winner :) Title: Re: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: BTCevo on December 18, 2015, 11:52:11 AM there is a minimum quote, if it don't reach it, the game is not valid, and i think the credits are refunded to players Yeah I got my credits back. My credit will keep on being refund after playing that. Why you dont lower the quorum make it half of it may be people can start joining here Title: RE: CHAINBID.com - 1° Gambling with Unique bid auctions in BITCOIN Post by: ChainBid on December 23, 2015, 02:59:30 PM Hurry and go to play!
