With the manner the Chinese are buying hard, I would think it will definitely be $500-$1000 at LEAST, else the sky is the limit my friend! :-)

As current market behaving I think its going over 500$ in next year and hope this will stay for some time or go up because not time for rise is on for us

$500 should be breached this year. Might dip back below but think it will remain above 500 for most of next year. Whether we will go above 1,000...maybe but not for an extended period of time.

By end of 2016, I think BTC will be worth around $1000.

Exactly. We already got ourselves a new solid support level from where we can aim higher and higher.

Everyone has calmed down and we are now growing gradually until another panic.

I never expected to say this, before this rally I would have said it would reach $700 at most once the halving has taken place. Currently in the current market and with a lot people going nuts on getting themself extra coins to hold, I say we may reach a new ATH due to the halving.

We reached $500 so easily, which made me turn from a bull into an ultra bull. Let's hope China keeps pushing the price as they did days ago. The comming months will be very interesting and bring a lot volatility with it. Great for day traders if there are nice price swings.

for bitcoin price at 2016 i would like to vote $400-500 and i wish it could be happen at 2016 early and the most important is stable at that price

The majority are typically wrong in these price prediction threads. There was a Bitcoin price prediction thread for Dec 31, 2014 but most of the predictions failed. Most of the guesses predicted higher prices than we got. I hope this thread does the opposite and underestimates a final 2016 moon result.

I am rooting that bitcoin price could somehow go up between $500 - $600. I think with all the fuss with the chinese traders, the MMM rumours and with the halving, I think it will take it's effect on the price anytime soon when 2016 starts. I'm just hoping that by the time the price rise, it will be stable once again.

I'm going with the majority of the voters and think the price will be mostly somewhere between $500 and $1000. Very slowly upward trend with an occasional bull-run followed by sell-offs. A boring year for traders but a positive year for those who focus on the phenomenom Bitcoin itself and future development.

I wonder what the results of this poll would've been had it been asked a couple of months ago. $500-1000 is viable but perhaps 2016 is lining up to be a year to remember in which case I wouldn't want to guess. Alternatively the block shite might drag on all through the year and beyond until it becomes the only subject media outlets can talk about. That's not going to be helpful.

As we approach the halving I believe we will be around $500-$1000, to be more precise I would say around middle ground $750'ish.

it will most probably be somewhere at 500 dollars i doubt that it might reach such prices as 800 dollars or more

My educated guess would be around $270-$380. Slow decline would still continue after January 2016

I feel the few months we saw with $250 range stability were much better than these liquid markets...
I think we will be between $300 - $500 range during 2016...

My vote is for over 1000 USD in 2016 for 1 BTC.This is a phase of correction which will stabilize the price around 400 $.Next year halving and new investment will be main reason for price to reach over 1000 USD.

I will say after exact one year by this time we will be discussing whether will be over 10000 USD or not.Bitcoin will be around 2000-3000 $ by then.I am holding because this is going to happen when Bitcoin will be used in umbtc as unit next year.

Price will be somewhere among 500-1000 $.I don't believe in hyip but this is the range after so many speculations and corrections and adoption plus halving is to be believable.I would be happy if price reaches more higher.This is what I expect.

I just can hope all of you are right and I am wrong regarding so high price prediction for year 2016.Being realistic I can say 400-500 $ is the range where all the year price will be.I don't exclude some temporary pumps as happened this year too.We talking about overall price so i gave my opinion above.

with the bull run from days ago in mind, i have to say $700-$1000. the only question is, will we maintain the +$1000 price level if we break it. will it cause a massive dump from traders or will people continue to support that level?

Seeing the signs given by bitcoin these days and first of all the stability shown the last three days (hoping that its behaviour will continue to be in the same way) I think that the price will have for sure increase after halving. As for the amount of this increase I think that it is absolutely unpredictable. If bitcoin is yet able to have increase of price about 100% within two days and then decrease for about 50% I think that telling prediction of price during the next year (which have 365 days) is something that have no sense. No one can know the behaviour of bitcoin and there are not any Central Authority which can influence or control in some way its behaviour in the market.

So remain to hope the increase of the people which will know it and will be attracted by him. This is the only secure way which will increase the real demand in its market and as a consequence even its real price. I gave a vote (over 1000 us dollar) at the poll but only to give a figure and not because have a base in my prediction.

The price could be $700 in the middle of 2016. It could reach $1000 by the year end. It depends on the adoption of bitcoin.

Around $700-$1000 in 2016 i think before end of this year it would be near $500 so as time passing bitcoin getting more adoption and attention so that would be possible to get stable price over $500 from the beginning on next year.

I voted to over $1000 i have strong believe this will happen very soon i think $500 is not so far at the moment we can get it soon and than will continue with this up trend.

I believe a new ATH is possible. This year we might be able to reach $400-$500 and esecially with next years halving I expect a massive bull run. So I voted for over $1000.

I expect to see the price to rise between $400-$500 after December, and this is my personal opinion. I think we will see more people jumping on  the BTC bandwagon as i have heard that more people are gifting BTCs on Christmas. Also the awareness and promotion growing among 'others' will help increase the value soon.

I dont think anything can stop it from crossing the $400 cap at the start of 2016. the coming halving will surely see another surge that might take it up to at least $800-$1000 for sure.

Trying to work out how people voted "other" , pretty sure all the possibilities are included in the stated ranges.

Personally, I think we will see a value of $400 after Christmas and nothing much to stop it from getting as high as $500-$600 in January. People get optimistic in the new year and tend to invest more in that period, so that is why.

The truth is it could go to zero tomorrow or go to 1 million each within six months from now! When it comes to Bitcoin, you never know what will happen!  ;)

Stable at around $330 would be my guess.

On January 1 2016, my guess today would be that the price will around high 400's to low 500's. Part of me would like to see it higher and the other part of me wants to see it lower. I plan on getting my taxes done early and then to use the returns to buy more coin.

You are wrong because there are many things which help us at least predict the price of Bitcoins based on analysis of the most famous indicators including Moving Average and Price Action. You can't say "you never know", as somehow somewhere there are people with good predictions even in case of Bitcoins.

I'm voting for the $500 - $1000 range, that seems to be the most realistic one. We're really close to hitting $400 once again.

I'm sure we will see more random/semi-random spikes to the $500 range next year.  When greece or other countries have debt issues, there surely will be a spike, at least temporarily

I'm saying this for the 1st part of the next year(before the halving period).

But after August there are more room to see if the price really reach more than 1k, i voted 500-1000.

Of course I would like bitcoin price to be over $1000 obviously (imagine the news!). But honestly doubt that will be the case (unless something really unexpected happen, or the halving will take its toll).

I too voted above $500 only because according to the current price of bitcoin and future predictions are showing like that. Due to the Christmas and New year value go high for BTC. After that I don't think so Price fall down again. Will hope and see.

I feels like it's gonna cross $1,000 in 2016 due to several reasons and looking back at the history of Bitcoin how it's value has increased (sometimes decreased as well) I am confident that it will cross $1000 lets hope for it

Even I hope the value of Bitcoin increases but my prediction is it might cross $1000 in 2016 in the last quarter of 2016 and till that it will keep fluctuating between $400 - $450 or $500.
