You should check with NXT : https://nxtforum.org/index.php

If you have a good project and if you can provide enough trust you can raise easily thousands of dollars, but as I said you have to prove that you are trustfull.

You can post here, marketplace, service discussion thread. You do need to explain to people what would you like to do.

I suggest as much as possible transparency. Crypto s full of scams and ponzi pumpers and this is the main reason real investors are extremely cautious.

It depends what kind of investement really , more then likely you should post on the Securities section like everyone else : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=78.0 but as people said above , you should be serious and make clean topic with much information's and you and your project and big is it etc ... People aren't just going to throw their money .

Good suggestions so far, one that hasn't been mentioned is posting info about your project and asking for investors on the Projects board. You can find it here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0

Good luck!

You could post here but I think the result of thw funding will depends on what kind of project is you are developing. Anyway, goodluck!

Why not simply post your plan and promote it on the 'securitie' section. There is a better chance of finding potential investors  but you will need to earn their trust. Go for maximum transparency regarding your plan etc. Good luck!

Give us a hint as to what area it involves and you'll receive a better class of suggestion.

Do you have a business plan? Get one fast if you don't. Very precise, with all details regarding your future activity, and many numbers to make investors salivate. Don't forget to include a short bio of yourself, and everybody else involved in the project. When that is done, you may knock at the dorr of business angels.

Idea is hard to sell, because someone can stole it from you while selling it.
Investors are hard to find but not impossible. If your idea is brilliant there will be no problem, formality, problem is its probably decent only.
Anyway, try some Venture Capitals companies. Prepare solid business plan.

Good ideas always will be profitable, another question is for who.

This is great advice!

Investors are going to want many details of your business - what's the business plan? who's your target audience? who are your competitors? what revenue targets do you have? what costs will you have? what finances do you have? How can you sustain growth? And is it all realistic?

Did you post your project on the Projects board? Get any response yet?

The Project Development thread seems to be a pretty good place to gauge potential user interest in whatever project your considering embarking on.  If your looking for funding your going to have to do it the right way.  (i.e. Use a trusted escrow source) with the promise of returning all funds if funding goal isn't reached that kind of thing.

You first need to explain what you are looking to do.  There are a number of investment possibilities out there, just be careful what you all get yourself into.  When you tell people about the project you are looking to complete, you need to be informative and brief about it.  Do not give all the detailed information in public forums, for someone else could take the idea.  Just be as informative as you can with out giving the milk away for free.

This is correct but OP do remember ideas don't have copyrights, if you tell others about your idea it may happen that you don't get funded but instead someone who has funds uses your idea to make it their own project and which is why it is very hard to find investors on-line. It's best if you take loans from your banks or find investors elsewhere with your friends or family or a startup group.

Just checking in to see if you have taken anyone's advise and been able to find any investors.  Also, if you tell us more about your project and what you are looking to get accomplished, maybe someone who is reading this may be interested in becoming an investor.

You can post your idea or your offer which you would like to sell, in the services section (Marketplace) on this forum and try to bump your topic daily and offer good prices. You may find some investors or buyers

Try to make a thread explaining your offer in the right section of the forum (goods or services depending what you sell) and may be you get easily investors there

You should check out btcjam.com or loanbase.com if you're looking for a loan (depending on how much). You can also check out btcpop, but I've found the first two are much more popular. On average btcjam are for year long loans and loanbase are more for 1 week - 2 month loans, but you could possibly get a cheaper interest rate on loanbase.

As most everyone is pointing out here you will need a lot more explanation of your loan regardless of where you post it so people can understand what they're investing in.
