blockchain based? Are you referring to that kind of lotto where your txn hets picked and win? I don't think there is tho.

Not exactly. I'm talking about one, where the randomness is coming from the blockchain.

hmm why would you want that? Isn't enough to use normal libraries to generate randomness and use provably fair to confirm things?
Not an expert here, just got curious about that question.

As far as I know everybody only wants to use the immutability and demonstrable the blokchain network but in reality nothing good has not yet came out.

I am confused what excatly you mean by Blockchain based , but by seeing the above quotes i can say you you can even try Secondstrade.com is is pretty fun , but be sure to check their thread as i am hearing a lots of shady activities of theirs.

There are http://bettingblocks.com/ and http://block777.com/, in which you can gamble on which pool will find a particular block.

I have also seen a few sites that allow people to gamble on the block hash or the "nonce" of the block (eg. Is the last number in the hash odd or even? Is the last two digit of the nonce <50? etc), but those sites didn't seem to get much attention and soon disappeared.

Blockchain based games could be "fairer", but those type of games burn transaction fees. I prefer off chain games which is faster and allow smaller bets.

Yeah blockchain games tend to burn transaction , moreover if there is multiplier of 1.01 and you bet 0.001BTC , then from senders side there is 0.0001BTC as fee and after win again there is fee of 0.0001BTC , so you end up in loss.
This has actually been experienced by me on secondstrade.com for 5seconds up.

Satoshidice and satoshibones had their results calculated using TXID. Ralobot.com uses the confirmation time to calculate.

What do you mean by blockchain based games? I know that there would be people gambling by making transactions and then they would win if their transaction ID ended on a certain number or whatever but this was pretty abusable since you can manipulate it. Also I think SatoshiDice uses (used?) to get their RNG for the rolls from the transaction id but don't quote me on that, I'm not entirely sure if they still do that or if it was flawed.

their are so many sites came but got not that much customers so soon they shut down with scam, and some people run the same in this site with their thread but that was not success. so i think this blockchanin gambling idea is waste.

I doubt any of the games mentioned above take randomness purely from blockchain. AFAIK, most big games uses gaming pattern recognition before generating random no. This does not ensure house win, but increases chance by many fold. This is not possible if randomness is taken purely from blockchain.

Like others I don't specifically know what you mean by "true blockchain based gambling game", but I'll assume that you are talking about a game that counts on numbers from blockchain bitcoin transactions to win. If so, try satoshinonce.com, I'm not sure if the site is still active, (I think it is as there are still bets ongoing on the site) but if it is active I think this might be what you're looking for.

From my experience, trusted blockchain based game mostly use secure network like https.
I do not know if some free website can use blockchain based game too or not.

Blockchain based games could be "fairer", but those type of games burn transaction fees. I prefer off chain games which is faster and allow smaller bets.

And i agree with medUSA, i prefer play in off chain or in depositing account. Play with small amount of BTC for fun.

A game that relies on random hashes on blockchain to offer randomness.

This game was pretty fascinating:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCPHtSjqNI0

You mined the coin's blockchain by playing it, so it was purely blockchain based, the scenario was generated out of the blockchain's data, and you would win coins by playing it.

I wish someone implemented something like this but more elaborated and with multiplayer competition support.

^These are the only games which are dependent on randomness of blocks, there are other which are on chain games but are not based on blockchain, it is what I think OP is asking. There was a game where you'd need to pick the block size to win but it wasn't too successful iirc. The block timing has to do with a lot of that, sometimes a block takes more than half an hour and people get bored waiting for it, which is why most prefer off-chain and games not based on blockchain.

I think chainroll was closed months ago.
I loved the red and green layout of the site, wonder why so many sites get closed ? I think not much profit or lack of time. I wish for more blockchain based gambling sites to entertain us in near future.

This is something I've often wondered myself. Other than the raffles we have been doing over in the collectibles section I've not heard of many others. Will definitely keep a close eye on this thread to see if we do have some fun and fully working games around. I'm a bit surprised there's not that big of a market offering these kind of games.

Not from any reputed websites I know of.Actually,it doesn't matter since most of the top websites have their own provable fair mechanisms. If you only wish to use blockchain based games just for the sake of provable fairness,it isn't a good idea.
You can look for special on-chain bets which are mainly used for public bets and such.

Really surprised this thread was brought back from the dead after a year.

Either way besides the chain-bet website there aren't that many. And honestly somebody really should make one as a smart contract for ETHEREUM.

With bitcoin due to the VERY SLOW confirmation times and VERY HIGH transaction fees you are better off using a different currency.

This would be very easy to program as a smart contract on ETH and everybody can verify looking at the source that they aren't being cheated.

We ( www.ettagames.io ) did create our game as a on-chain game, we create game by using smart contract and design as a Dapp which running on Ethereum. I have to admit it that the long confirmation time and transaction fee is a big problem for this business. We tried very hard to handle this kind of situation and to deliver the best fun experience to players. We still working on it but we won't give up. The Blockchain is an amazing world.

Not sure why you want these kinds of games, usually this also involves your bet being 1 deposit 1 bet style. Not sure if there is a term for it, but that is how it usually is, it's similar to secondstrade. I don't think it's a good gambling model since players have to pay for miner's fee and also the gambling site has to do so. In the end profits get eaten on both sides.

They plan to decentralize its lottery as possible, that's why they raised funds to put them in the development though it is transparent yet. With the first quarter of 2017, it is fully transparent according to their vision.

Ethereum blockchain is much different from Bitcoin blockchain. They have a concept of uncle blocks as orphaning happens every now & then. If chain-bet is as is implemented in Ethereum, then miners may influence the result in their favour. It is possible to do it with lot of confirmations on Ethereum blockchain, but that would be same as doing it on Bitcoin blockchain.
