Good idea, we something like a collection thread with all the beginners videos and tutuorial in the opening post.

Its good idea but this video is animated one only we can suggest Documentary for newbies thats more fine when compare to this video because If newbie see this they could not understand completely about BTC. Share some good Documentary like Rise and Rise of BTC

very nice video for newbies, i will add this to my collection which i use to show in my bitcoin conference ,where i use to show my friends about bitcoin and its uses , like this collection  i use them to show them and make them understand about bitcoin.

Well from all the comments can't wait to get home and watch the video. Just made a post on facebook last night to see out of all the people I know who has any idea what bitcoin is or how it works. Most people that said yes only understood a part of what it actually is.

We should be careful to promote Bitcoin with "FREE FEES" ... With the introduction of 3rd party products, and them adding fees, it is slowly moving towards the same "fee" model as

are being used by it's competitors. Let's rather promote it with statements saying "Very Low Fees" ...it would be a better strategy. The people might adopt Bitcoin, thinking that

it is FREE and then they get faced with services charging large fees. Apart from that, I enjoyed the 3 minute animation and it's quite simplistic and easy to understand.  ;D

Fees that are less than a cent, if you wish to wait long enough for the transaction.
We need to advertise this big part of Bitcoin; transactions have extremely small fees.

Who needs to care about anything when most sites charge ~3 cents to transfer?

When I try to introduce bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to my non-techie friends I get zero response. Not even a simple questions about.
It seems they totally don't get it. They even laugh at me.
So I am kind of stuck and have no idea how to catch their attention for real.
