How much does a senior member sell for on average.

If your account has good post history , it might worth at least BTC 0.3 - BTC 0.4
But if you're just post on local or games & round section mostly, that account just worth for BTC .1 - .2 IMO

I've not brought any accounts but have been around to see them falling in price. They used to go for around 0.5btc when the price was much higher. Now I see them go for as little as 0.15 but lets say between 0.15 and 0.25.

What does 'potential activity' mean? Either it has activity or it doesn't surely? Judging by that I am a potential legendary member. All I have to do is post for 2-3 years.

Potential activity= 14*number of posts you have made per activity update you have posted in. So you can post in 3 activity period once every time and have potential 42 activity, that activity will increase your activity to 42 which you can gain by posting 39 more posts, without waiting for every activity update.
@OP due to increasing price and signatures lowering payments, don't expect more than 0.2 even if you have good quality posts.

Thanks for the explanation. It's a complex business this activity stuff.

Potential activity accounts do go for much less because you often need to make a lot of posts to collect the full activity. For instance you could have an account with 60 posts/activity but a potential activity of 240 so you would need to get your post count up to 240 to get all the banked activity which can be a bit of an effort.

so verdict of price

This is probably the most accurate estimation:

Now I see them go for as little as 0.15 but lets say between 0.15 and 0.25.

If you want an account just check in Digital Goods or make a thread there wanting to buy one and see what offers you get.

How much does a senior member sell for on average.
It depends on the potential activity.
I think you'll going to sell an account, the more activity it has, the more they will pay you.
