hey guys i was watching the new movie deep web yesterday. i found it was quite nice not very emotional like the internets own boy but more bam bam straight forward.

i saw "downloaded", "the rise and rise of bitcoin", "bitcoin the end of money as we know it" and all those documentaries.


does anybody know some more films about cryptography, dark web, bitcoin?

Dope was a mainstream movie where they talked about Bitcoin at some point dark web too. Ulterior States was a nice documentary and "Life on Bitcoin" was on CNN and explained the life of a reporter trying to survive on Bitcoin for like a week. All pretty entertaining. Not very informative tho to any experienced user, lectures and speeches by Greg Maxwell, Andreas etc are better to actually learn.

There are some bitcoin movies out there, but i personally dont know any and have not watched any. Why make a movie about bitcoin? I think it is a bit pointless

Why is there a series of "Anyone know of Bitcoin movies" posts this week?

I made a thread about it and I've seen at least 3 other threads about it - in the last three days!

Now, if only I had the time to watch all these movies!

Did anyone attend the first date and screening of Bitfilm Festival in Germany?

It's not a documentary but it's a must watch. Andreas Antonopoulos Canadian Senate hearing. You can find it on YouTube. It's about 2 hours long and Andreas is explaining Bitcoin to the Canadian leaders. He is using very basic language so it's easy to understand. You can learn a lot from this Senate hearing!

I don't really see how a Bitcoin movie is pointless. Bitcoin movies help with the publicity of movies. They are interesting, entertaining and help people learn more about Bitcoin. My favourite Bitcoin movie is "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin". If you guys have any other good Bitcoin movies please let me know as I find them very informative and intriguing.

That's one of the most informative pieces on bitcoin if you want to scratch the surface. Andreas does a pretty good job explaining what bitcoin is. Doesn't matter if your 8 or 80 years old. Senate asks pretty good questions about bitcoin as well.

The journalist was a bitch in my opinion. But she had her points.
