Bitcoin is irreversible, there's no chargebacks, that's the whole point of it. If it was in mempool, there maybe would be a chance, but transaction that happened here has 241 Confirmations, so the best thing now is to understand how the security breach happened and how to fix it to prevent it from happening again. btw games and rounds is the wrong section for your thread, maybe move it to bitcoin disscussion ? Use bottom left "move" to move it to correct section. Title: Re: lost btc Post by: quochung on November 14, 2015, 01:38:57 PM Sent 0.0001BTC with a message. If he honest, he will send it to you.

Title: Re: lost btc Post by: samuel999 on November 14, 2015, 02:37:57 PM Are you sure that the Bitcoin was stolen? The transaction to that address looks like he didn't steal everything he could have. The balance of the address it was taken from was 0.02569787 but the thief only stole 0.025, not as much as he could have. That seems a little suspicious.
Title: Re: lost btc Post by: DiamondCardz on November 14, 2015, 02:39:41 PM If it was actually stolen there's not much you can do about it bud, it's going to be extremely hard to find whoever the person who paid you the BTC is and the fact that Bitcoin is irreversible means that unless he sends it back to you himself there's no way to get it back. Luckily it's only around $8, just take it as a lesson.

Title: Re: lost btc Post by: OnkelPaul on November 14, 2015, 06:43:04 PM You cannot create a private key from an address. Period.
If it were possible, bitcoin would be worthelss. The best you could hope for is understand what happened. But since you only state what you did not do ("i dont think i send it i was ofline on 23 pm") it is very difficult to see what could have gone wrong. In most such cases, there is either malware on the wallet computer involved, or misunderstanding about how bitcoin transactions work (many folks don't understand the "change" parts of their transactions at first). I highly suggest you read about how hard it is to get a private key. Search and there are multiple threads. But unless you know a good amount of the password to it... it is pretty much impossible with current equipment (and will remain so for any foreseeable future). Title: Re: lost btc Post by: rychallenge on November 17, 2015, 08:26:29 AM Once coins are sent there is NO way to retrieve them.
I am guessing you used blockchain.info with no security but a password? Title: Re: lost btc Post by: Snorek on November 17, 2015, 09:18:59 AM Easy boys. There is not need to cry over 8 dollar loss of your bitcoin - consider this situation a lesson for the future.
Keep eye on your coins, don't use weak passwords in your online wallets (or better don't use online wallets at all). And if your coins are already stolen by some random people, there is 0.00001% that you will ever see any of it again. That is nature of bitcoin. Title: Re: lost btc Post by: Xeelee on November 17, 2015, 11:36:48 AM Also an interesting link regarding free altcoins:
