Title: Cyber war on terrorism
Post by: croato on November 16, 2015, 10:19:17 AM
Just found that and think it could be interesting. Not that i think we can defeat those barbarians in cyber way, i am more for brute forcing them with troops and machinery than brute forcing their passwords but it is also cool thing to do.

Well... Actually,
I think it's great what anonymous is trying to achieve, and even tough actually physically attacking them is something that has to happen sooner or later, attacking their facebook, twitter,... is also something very productive.

They use their social media accounts to attract more fighters. So by stopping their social media accounts, anonymous can actually stop them from recruiting extra youngsters. Offcourse, i know they'll also have other channels of recruitment, but every kid that isn't brainwashed by those bozo's, is a kid that cannot be trained to fight...

Just my idear.

Well if encryption works, it will work for ISIS too.

Sure... But i think an organisation like anonymous would be strong enough to hit them where it hurts: their social media campaign... They can encrypt most things, but not their twitter and facebook. It would be meaningless if they posted encrypted messages on facebook, because it would be useless as a tool to attract easily brainwashed kids.

Unfortunately most brainwashed "kids" they attract via their priests in various big cities over the world.
But I hope that Anonymous can find out something more, like their servers, if any.
Guerrillas are hard to fight, but I am sure they have some central points of command. If those are revealed and hacked, a lot o interesting info will flood out.

It is very important for humanity to start fighting every type of terrorism; not just the Isis terrorism but the American and Capitalist terrorism as well.

It will be very hard to harm ISIS in that way. Almost every intelligence agency is trying that for a while with very limited success cause ISIS use very unconventional methods to communicate and coordinate. Still, it is good to see that ppl is getting enough if those barbarians and try to do what they can. It will be fun to watch what those enthusiasts can do. In my opinion, Europe should play very hard on this ball at home and at middle east.
