Title: btcjam: where is the link to my localbitcoins wallet? Post by: dropBear on November 21, 2015, 12:46:04 AM So I signed up at btcjam and subsequently published and had funded a small loan. During the sign up process I linked to my localbitcoins wallet by entering my localbitcoins 2FA code.
Subsequently I can see NO EVIDENCE OF THIS LINK anywhere in my btcjam account profile and settings and I find this at best odd or even suspicious. After posting about this matter on the localbitcoins forum I have received some very disturbing responses. I'm disappointed to say they indicated btcjam to be disreputable and untrustworthy. Obviously I will honour the current loan contract I have with them but I have unlinked them from all my email and social media accounts as a precaution and will not do business with them again. My own behaviour was entirely in good faith and yet hey I'm the one who's apparently a scammer! I have seen many talk about BTCJam and lending... but is it legit? Is BTCJam trusted and secure? I think it is not a safe place to invest your coins on this site (btcjam). There are many people got cheated even with high rated people so I think it is quite risky to invest. But if you still want to invest then better give a very small amount for each person to reduce your losses. Basically I don't like to lend my coins without proper collateral. |
