RPC ports doesn't matter, you can use whatever unused port you wish, you just need to use the same port in the miner. Title: Re: Monacoin rpc port. It won't connect because it seem to use a different RPC/JSON protocol or something like that.

It won't connect because it seem to use a different RPC/JSON protocol or something like that. yes monacoin devs screwed up the lyra2rev2 port (using old vtc lyra2 code, known to not be solo minable because of some problem in the block header) with the new algo... They should have used the current vtc wallet which works well and was tested both in solo and pool mode. Title: Re: Monacoin rpc port.
