I am from Croatia and we have one Bitcoin ATM (as far as i can tell). It is at our capitol Zagreb in coffee shop near main square. Hope we will soon have few at coast (we are mostly touristic country so it would be great for us and for Bitcoin).

Yup, there's only one for now, and the idea about placing some on coast would be great.
Altho to local population using an exchange(bitkonan) and withdrawing to and from bank account is enough.

Actually bitcoin vending machines would be great (not ATM's). You don't need change, only your smartphone to quickly buy water/snacks/food

Usually they are few and most likely far away from you, plus they charge high fee.

I don't think it is worth

Check bitcoin machine locations map (http://coinatmradar.com/) or alternatively you can use bitcoin ATM iOS (http://coinatmradar.com/ios/) or Android app (http://coinatmradar.com/android/) to check closest locations to your place.

The distribution is centered around the places where the biggest adoption rate is. North America has the highest concentration of Bitcoin users and it's natural that they would

have the highest number of ATM's. These ATM's have operating costs and if you want to make some profit from these machines, you would need a active community to support it.

Some ATM operators have very poor placement and you would not even know it was there, if it was not for the online sites stating their location. The ATM operators follows the

money... get people to adopt it and demand it as a service and it will come your way.  ;)

At least your country have 1 bitcoin vending ATM. My country (INDIA) doesn't even have 1. Because, don't have much adoption. Hope some bitcoin ATMs will be installed soon.

That is actually a great idea, you pick the items you want, then an address will appears on the lcd along with the QR Code for you to scan and then you send the BTC there
And Presto!!
The machine will drop the stuffs you just bought ;D

Any chance we will implement this someday ?
Would be cool to see this inside the mall or public place ;)

In Canada there are a few atm machines.  Just in my city of Montreal there are around 6-7

This is one of the companies that provides atm services

I personally think these things are very cool and are good for our adoption. Yes, fees are quite high but for someone that's getting their bitcoins for the first time, this is a very neat way to just get them.

Also, new people won't be getting huge amounts on these ATMs, these will be mostly smaller amounts. Anyone who is getting any bigger amount will get to the exchange anyways!

Bitcoin ATMs are expensive to buy, not many businesses want to buy them and rent expensive floorspace to operate. Breakeven is difficult if local bitcoin community is small, let alone make a profit. We will not see more ATMs on the streets until their prices drop.

I haven't researched much but i think that there is no bitcoin atm in my country.
If it is it should be only one maybe, i don't know what are the fees to maintain it but i would invest in this.
At least one in the capital city on each country that does not have bitcoin ATM, any idea about how much are the fees?

There is one in Estonia, the owner is a jew and I most likely won't be buying from there anymore.

I wanted to deposit a bigger sum of money to bitcoins and while doing that the owner of the bitcoin atm raised the fees from 5% to 10% to 15%. Then he lowered it down to 10% again and told me that he was giving me a discount. Like seriously, I'm not that dumb. I can check up the price on my phone and when I see it change to abnormal levels in front of my eyes I know something is up. When he told me that he was going to give me a discount for my last purchase, then it hit me. It was like he spat on my face.
