People been asking if I have posted proof about this or not.

I would like to know if you have a section in which I can post a community alert or a deal dispute on him.

I didn't get scammed for much but it's about honesty, he scammed me for $20 and he shouldn't be around doing deals no more.

Well, I've already bought a few products here with no issues.

I do have the Skype chats and the fact he stopped replying on Skype when I claimed the code did not work.

So this will be easy, I also have pictures from me trying to redeem it and it not working.

It'll just take me 1-2 hours to upload the proof, $20 isn't much of a hassle but it's really hard watching people scam for $20, what a lowlife ..

I already have the final proof (a screenshot in xbox's website saying the code you sent me ain't even activated).

So yeah, get off as I've told you many times.

I have the skype chat and his messages through bitcointalk.org.

Since this is a code the best thing to do would be to one trusted member access my computer via Teamviewer or Skype Screenshare and I could show myself redeeming the code and receiving the message that the code is not activated yet.

He told me the code worked in Skype, then one day later he starts asking for a refund. What a lier. If anyone wants, I can send them the code and they can confirm that it is used, just PM me.

Show them the first part of the message where you said you used it!

Post the first part of the Skype chat, you deleted the messages after you took a screenshot. Show them the first part, and this case will be closed.

If you are in the conversation with him you can take a screenshot of the entire chat to post here.

If the other guy deleted his messages and yours are still there then that is obviously fishy. A person who got scammed would want to keep all of the evidence they can, not delete it.

By him deleting his messages that helps your side of the story as it shows he has something to hide. Simply showing that he did delete his messages will go far.

OlDirtyBastard and librty. Please both post whatever Skype conversation you have, in full, unedited. No matter which messages where deleted and which weren't. Just post whatever you have available now. If one of you refuses or gives vague excuses to do this it would be a big red flag and most probably would deserve negative trust. If none of you do that I'd recommend everyone just to ignore this thread. If both do this then we can have something to discuss.

Alright, I've had enough of this so I'll finally take a bit of time to show you fully why this user IS indeed a scammer.

First of all, I'll introduce myself.

Now, I'm a very trusted and reputable trader there and basically what I do is resell giftcards.
When I saw librty selling a Xbox 13 Month Code for $20 I thought it was a great deal because people usually pay a bit more for these on HackForums so I thought I'd resell it.

His PM's on bitcointalk.org. I required proof and he sent me this:

Now, I've had deals with xbox before and I thought that once I entered the code if I got this as a result:

I sent him my Skype and he added me.

I asked for proof of date and time because it could be an old screenshot.

He deleted the new message aswell. Once he posts a picture of the first messages between us, this case will be closed. He said quote "it works thanks!". One day later, he starts asking for a refund, and threatening me if I don't refund him. The code is showing up as redeemed now. If he posts the first messages between us, my case will be proven. If he does not, it proves that he is a scammer.

Not only are the dates different but the codes used are different. Why is that?

"It did work, thanks I'll buy your other codes too" That is my proof. The code was redeemed by him, and he is showing to different error messages. This is what happens when you sell to a kid from hack forums. He is basically black mailing me to refund his money.

i alread made an twitter campaign and paid an user simply 10x times more than he should get... Anyways he was so kind and paid me back..

How are the codes different ?

There is only ONE code, tried on two different devices, one MacBook pro and one Xbox.

The dates are different yes because the screenshot I took to prove this was taken at the time of me making the post.

The code that I specifically posted screenshots for are error codes... One is for you not being in the region the code was bought in and the other is saying the code has been used.

The code that says you are not in the right region is the one you took on the 20th of November which shows that the code was in fact valid. Your screenshot from yesterday shows the code was used.

And no, I do not use Xbox but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at an image and see something is wrong.

id like to vouch for dirtybastard, ive dealt with him over 300$ worth of products on my thread on this forum.

I have over 250 positive feedback and a powerseller on bitify and dirtyoldbastard is one of my favorite buyers. Never once had an issue with him.

The only negative feedback on dirtybastard is from liberty, the multiple negative feedbacks were from different people on liberty's trust.

Does the region affect anything ?

I've redeemed and sold many currency Xbox gc's and they have always worked fine (region didn't matter).

As I said before I'm a reseller.

I found a buyer for this GC for $24 (I had previously bought it for $20 from librty). I had a Skype Screenshare section with the user and in fact the code did not work. (It was also the user who tried buying it that sent me the same image - the xbox one). I eventually refunded him.

I actually have no idea of what is going on right now. So you're saying librty code was valid ?

I tried redeeming it with the user and it DID NOT work.

I'm not here to try and solve anything as this is up to y'all to do, I'm just trying to get all of the facts sorted out so when people read this in the future they will be able to get the full story.

If this was a court case though the verdict would be against you as you had told him a day before that the code worked when you got it.

You showed two seperate error codes, one where the error code said it was region error, and then one that said it was used. This is why I hate hackforum kids. Obviously you used it...

You would never win. You admitted it was working right when I sent it, and you even offered to purchase more. Also your error codes show that at one point it was working (region errors), second error code at a different time showed it was used (by you)

What exactly does 'This token has been deactivated' mean exactly? So it was active at some time?
Why are codes deactivated? Didn't you ask that? Hacked/Invalid payment method maybe?

I did and he replied 'That's a good question' as you can see.

When he told me 'The code was never redeemed' that was enough for me and this IS enough to clear everything up because librty keeps saying either I or my client redeemed the code and it NEVER worked as it NEVER was redeemed.

I may also have been a victim of the same situation.  I am still waiting for a response from librty, though, and still have yet to make my verdict about whether or not I have been scammed.  Ready to post my proof as well, if this does not turn out in my favor.

You just can't trust someone who can't type properly and obviously cannot think as a normal person would.

Sadly I did. I did a lot of research into his account and only just saw this thread right before I sent the BTC today, but thought that my other research might indicate that it would work out well for me.  I trusted, but probably shouldn't have.  Like I said though, I still have yet to hear back from him...so it's possible that this could turn around.  But I am indeed finding that my experience was almost identical to yours.

Absolutely.  He has not responded to any of my other attempts to contact him.  I will be posting a thread on the forum as well, just to warn others.  It seems that he has not been active for 4 days (as of 11/30, has not logged in since 11/26), so it is possible that he has left the forum for good....probably not though.
