Title: Litecoin spending?
Post by: caliburn on November 23, 2015, 06:34:38 PM
Hi, i have some litecoin, i got from genesis-mining.com (http://genesis-mining.com), (I got 2.5% discount using this code: g31KeU)

I would like to know where i can really spend my litecoin, in terms of investment? Any like good HYIP that accepts litecoin?
Thought of maybe earning more with that?

or how do i actually convert the litecoin exchange that we can exchange it for USD ?

What do you think?

Not helpful.

My advice would be to to hold your litecoins. That's the best investment you can do. Investing in HYIPs is way too risky. However if you do invest convert your litecoin to bitcoin before so you'd have more options to chose from.

I wouldn't recommend holding litecoins, I'd say convert them to bitcoins asap, use shapeshift.io it's an instant exchange and you don't need any accounts, just a bitcoin address is all you need to have them converted and after that you can either hold the bitcoins as I am positive the price is going to keep increasing or you can exchange it for fiat.

But yeah, investing in HYIPs is stupid, might as well throw your money away.

Shorter term i bet BTC will jump up more than LTC will.
But you never know what the future holds for LTC.
But history shows us BCT can go up a lot and fast.

If you want to "support" Litecoin then just keep them and wait longer term.
If not get some Bitcoin for them.
avoid HYIP.

Gonna sell your LTC ?

Sell between Dec 5th and Dec. 15th

Generally speaking i have found coins to be dumped leading up to the end of the month.
So prices will be lower during that period.

Even when both were going up a lot in the past BTC always had a far larger increase.
But i always liked Litecoin though.. especially when waiting for Bitcoins to show up LOL

Many say the value that lies with LTC is the block chain they may be right.
I'd consider seriously just holding my LTC long term.

Wow thanks for all the feedback.

Ok seems like its a bad idea to hold my Ltc unless i just want to support them.
Okok

as for HYIPs, i saw some sites like pokeram.com seems pretty stable? and alot of people have invested on it?

Have anyone actually tried it?
do you think its ok for that site?

I remember you can use Bitgo to spend litecoin. I do not know if you can do that now. There is not much use of litecoin.

Stable is just an illusion, a ponzi can keep running as long as it has investors, but that doesn't always happens and then it stops, also some ponzi operates just wait until they have a good sum of money and then just run away. But knowing that if you still want to throw away your money then do as you wish.

exchnge them for bitcoin, i'm not seeing a good future for them, they do not offer anything worth it, you can try to exchange with etheuem too
etheruem look better, it offer a decentralized platform and something else

For the time being, Ether is just used to make contract in the Ethereum platform. Maybe in the future, we can spend it elsewhere.
