Title: [newbie] Help me to use onboard gpu for display (when mining with other gpus)
Post by: hieu5189 on June 06, 2011, 01:11:18 PM
I have mainboard Jetway HZ02 (HD 4200) and 1x5870 and 1x5850
Now my 5870 is plugged in to the lcd to display (and mining too)
But I still not know how to use onboard gpu for display and leave those 58xxs mining and not be disturbed
Can anybody help?
I'm new, thanks so much!

You're most likely out of luck on this one.

Most IGP solutions, use the first PCI Express x16 lane for video output. As soon as you put a card into that port, the IGP is disabled.

That's atleast the case for my Asus P5Q-EM.

+1 on that. However there are some boards with "Hybrid Crossfire" support. This means that you can use both the onboard GPU and the PCI-E cards.
