How do I redeem gold back into BTC, other than setting up a side trade with someone? Redeeming to a bitcoin address should be a redemption option. A good option to withdraw your money from bitgold is using the bitgold credit card (You need almost 1 gr of gold on your acount to request the card). I'm pretty sure that I didn't do anything to the account , all I did was creating the account and that's it , the heart was there on the first place ! I have the heart icon from the first day i opened the acount. If you don't see the heart icon, try to enter to bitgold web with another browser. I normaly use Google Chrome and safari mobile on Iphone.
