He wanted me to sell him BTC but looking at his trade profile & the way he talked to me, I did not sell him any BTC and in anger he gave me -ve feedback.

Can someone please remove it from my profile?

The trust system isn't moderated! Only jou self can ask for them to be removed.

It means any one can leave -ve feedback for anyone and they can not complain/retaliate against it? Isn't it screwed up system then?

He didn't post any proof on your profile, and he seems like no one. So you shouldn't worry about your reputation in my opinion.
Unfortunately, your trust can't be edited by admins or mods, so you're stuck with that shitstain.

Basically : yes, you can leave me a baseless negative trust and the staff can do nothing to help me or vice versa.

The entire Trust system is so complex to understand & icing on the cake is one can not report baseless -ve feedback. This is height of insanity!

Less problem to the staff, however if the feedaback doesn't have a valid reference then it is not to be considered 'true'.

I am done talking to him. He is stupid as fuck & does not know how to talk to people. I hope he is not the same in real life or else everyone whom he meets/sees would be going through tough time.

Don't worry, very few people care about Untrusted Feedback. Take a look at mine or a trusted member of the forum, their untrusted feedback is a warzone.
The trust system isn't moderated in 3/4 cases to lower the (already large) amount that staff have to do and to stop censorship. If there is massive trust spam (such as the one seen here (https://i.imgur.com/pUGyx6g.png)) you can contact an admin to have it removed. You should try to work out any disagreements on trust with whoever set the trust, though since it is in Untrusted Feedback you don't really have to worry about it.

As you were already told, only the person that left the feedback can delete it.

I sent a message to the user michigan asking if they could provide a reference with the negative trust.

I have to say though, your calling them "stupid as fuck" will probably not make them remove the feedback.   :-\

How & why do you expect them to provide you any reference for this -ve trust when no deal happened b/w 2 of us?
Anyways, what do you expect me to address them as when someone like michigan (who keeps giving -ve f/b to everyone) gives me a -ve for no reason? You want me to appreciate him for his intelligence?

I don't know how many times it has to be said but there does not have to be a "deal" for someone to leave you feedback. It can be for any or no reason at all.
That being said yet again, I often look past any Trust given that has no reference or seeming relevance.

So, if I give you -ve feedback for offending me by quoting my post & making few words bold from it (which apparently I don't like).
How will you react?

Take a look at my Untrusted Feedback and knock yourself out.

That's what Trust is for. If I believe you are shady, it is permissible to leave appropriate feedback.
If I left you feedback stating you were a crybaby,it is allowed.
If you start leaving crap feedback, so your reputation will go.
