Central Bank of Barbados may include bitcoin in its foreign currency reserves
It is not yet to be determined whether bitcoin is a currency or a tradable asset, say Barbadian economists. However, they believe that holding an amount of bitcoin may prove useful to the central bank of the island nation.

This is just a comment by 2 economists (although they have been associated with the central bank in the past). As usual, the news headline has been hyped up.
